Stayed here June 10, 2008 and June 21-24, 2008 with wife, 4 year old, and mother-in-law in a suite (separate bedroom). Very nice room, large and comfortable for at least 4 adults - sofa sleeper in living area, 2 T.V.'s, king bed in bedroom, bathroom had double entry through door foyer and bedroom. Furnishings are very nice and everything looks very new, and very pleasant and well kept grounds.
The hotel is caddy-corner to San Antonio airport, and the hotel provides free shuttle service to airport, and to malls, restaurants, etc. within a 2-mile radius (Quarry Market, etc.). So you will hear jets roar by the hotel around 6 a.m. - 7 a.m.
Melissa at the front desk was always cheerful and friendly. Answered all my questions, and helped me get a low rate for extra days due to car trouble and had to stay put in San Antonio for 2 more days.
Standard continental breakfast - large dining area w/ 3 waffle irons. Never felt too crowded during the breakfast hours. Pool on the small size, but should be adequate for most, unless you want to do laps.
Hotel has business center with a computer and free internet access - very convenient to use, but have to ask for the key to the room.
P.S. Hotel allows you to park your vehicle for - FREE - in the hotel parking lot if you are leaving from the airport up to 30 days. You have to sign the usual waivers for loss and damage, but it saved me over $100 of parking fees for a 10 day trip.

As a single mother, this hotel was perfect! Great value!
It was super clean, and the complimentary breakfast and in-room refrigerator and microwave were definitely enjoyed; as was the in-room internet access (not wifi).
The location was also perfect, offering quick jaunts to absolutely anywhere within San Antonio - right off 410 and 281, and very close to the airport. My daughter and I enjoyed the shopping and restaurants at Quarry station and North Star Mall. The hotel was walking distance to Target and Walmart - although way too hot!
The pool, although small, was very clean except for the petals of the nearby pink trees, which added a spa-like touch! Unfortunately the hot-tub was out of order, but as hot as it was outside, it really didn't matter much.
I needed a bottle opener one night and I swear I believe they went and bought one for me to use!
I highly recommend this hotel!

I have to say that when we booked i was a little worried about the hotel not hearing much about it. We stayed there for a couple of days before we headed to our next location. I have to say that the hotel staff were great and the rooms were clean and the breakfast that is included with your stay was awesome.
Any time we had a question or needed anything the staff were very friendly and helpful. I slept on the roll out bed from the couch and it wasn't the most comfortable bed but i still slept like a baby.
The hotel was just minutes away from an amazing shopping mall " the Northstar Mall". The hotel shuttle dropped us off and picked us up as well. We thought that was great.
Overall i would reccommend this hotel to people . If we go back to San Antonio again i wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

I stayed at this hotel in early August for a Tennis tournament & it was absolutely awful. Housekeeping did a terrible job on cleaning our room--never wiped down any surfaces, lousy vacuum job, hairs still in bathtub, etc.... The front desk staff is completely incompetent--I received late wake-up calls each day I was in the hotel & on my last day at the hotel I went down to use their "business center" which consists of a lousy fax machine & 1 computer that everyone at the property is trying to use---they even having a waitlist for the computer----totally unheard of!!!! Nick, Anthony and Roberta at the front desk are extremely rude, including Nick--he obviously hates his job & needs to get a life/job outside of the hotel business. The hotel also has a cricket/bug problem, as they are all over in the lobby dead and in the corridors of the rooms. The floors in the hallways of the room are also dirty & littered with trash. The hotel is grose & poorly maintained--I work in a hotel in New York & this type of business is completely unacceptable!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!!!

My family of 6 stayed at the La Quinta San Antonio Airport in March 2007 The suite slept six of us fairly well with one king bed for three of us, a roll-away and a sleeper sofa. The room was basic, but clean and attractive. The staff was helpful and brought the rollaway promptly. Breakfast was fine with waffles, strawberries and whipped cream, pastries and fruit. There were no savory items when we were there. The main problem was NOISE!! LOUD, heavy equipment noise continued outside our room all night long. Other areas of the hotel may not have the same problem. My husband left on an early flight the following morning after a poor night's sleep. This is not the hotel's fault, but be forewarned that it was truly impossible to sleep through this noise! Other than the noise, the hotel was quite a nice place to stay.
