The La Quinta Hotel in North Platte Nebraska is a new hotel and pretty clean. If you are not a fan of loud footsteps you need to request a top (3rd) floor room. The slightest foot steps sound as though those above are jumping from beds when they are not. This is the new style of hotel with very little sound proofing. The rooms are new and clean. Large Tv's (32 inch I think) and large bathrooms. Much newer than most North Platte Hotels. Breakfast is pretty simple but decent, make it yourself waffles, cereal, bisquits and gravy, coffee, donuts etc. Decent, not awesome. The exercise area needs more machines, pretty much a treadmill and a bike....that's it. The pool is a decent size and relatively warm. HOt tub is also close by. Overall an enjoyable stay and welcome reief from the road.

After a long drive, my friend and I stayed at the North Platte La Quinta. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. Even better were the Simmons Beauty Rest Pillow top mattresses!!! The free breakfast had more options than expected. Wished all hotels were like this!

Newer hotel. Still in excellent shape. Good breakfast with the attendant present and keeping the place immaculate.
