Pluses: Very friendly staff; clean, large, comfortable rooms; nice continental breakfast with eggs, bacon, and waffle iron. Minuses: Old plumbing fixtures (shower at shoulder height, toilet chain kept coming unhooked in tank); some freeway noise; difficult entry due to road construction near entrance. You could do a lot worse than this place in Rock Springs.

Rates in Rock Springs are VERY HIGH for the types of hotel chains they are. I booked my hotel through [--] and asked for the military rate, which had a price of 77.95 per night. I did research for about 2-3 hours looking around for the cheapest rate, going through priceline, hot-wire, and a few others. The average hotel price in that area is $110.00 per night. With all of the hotels in that are you would think there would be a bit of price competition, but apparently that is not the case. The hotel wasn’t too bad to stay it. It had out side access to your room and it was on a single level, and parking was right in front of your room. The room was nice, very clean. They did have free drink hour, I am unsure of the times, and they also offered a free breakfast, which not much to brag about. This is most likely the cheapest hotel you will find in Rock Springs if your trying to get a reservation online.

Hotel was fine. Bedding good. Looks like it had been recently remodeled. Staff very friendly and had good restaurant recommendations. Would stay here again.

It was difficult to find a good room in Rock Springs. We trusted the post from the frequent business traveler, and bit the bullet. Wish we'd made other plans. The hotel is well-used, bedding, tired. Our first impression of the room was the worn, stained carpet. The shower and toilet were in a tiny room, although the room was separate from the vanity. Constant freeway noise. Wireless internet and breakfast were positives. I could see paying $60, but $134 was ridiculous. But, that's what the market allows in that location. I'd suggest getting through that part of Wyoming as quickly as possible, and plan your travel so that you don't have to stay along the I-89 corridor in Wyoming.
