We stayed at the La Quinta in Steamboat Springs and had a wonderful stay. Although the room wasn't very large, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We felt we got a good price on a nice place which included a continental breakfast. Although nothing fancy, it was fine to start out the day. Overall, we had a good experience!

These days, most hotels, especially in tourist destinations like Steamboat Springs, are of acceptable quality. The rooms are generally interchangeable between hoteliers, and most of us make little use of the amenities like pools and Continental breakfasts.
But where the La Quinta stands out is its staff, which were the most concerned and kind people I've dealt with in a long time. Their concern was real and they went out of their way not only to make my stay affordable and comfortable, but they expressed a personal interest in me that I have not found in ANY other national chain.
Congrats to Bobby and his wife and staff of La Quinta of Steamboat Springs. To quote the Governator: "I'll be back!"

We really enjoyed the La Quinta Inn. Our rooms (we booked 2, traveling with grown children) were very clean and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The highlight was the breakfast, plenty of hot and cold choices. The "log cabin" style lobby was very inviting.

We had prepaid reservations here. When we arrived, I had to use the bathroom urgently. The desk clerk confirmed that we had reservations but told me that they had no public rest room. I had to drive a mile or so down the road to find another bath room. The clerk tried to charge us an extra $10 for the room and said that I had only made a reservation for one. This is ridiculous since I always travel with my wife. I feel that wew were victims of a bait and switch. I explained what had happened to the General Manager who arrived after I returned from finding a bathroom elsewhere. He said that the desk clerk should have made a bath room available and offered to drop the $10 extra charge. We were so upset that he agreed to cancel our reservation.

The Steamboat LaQuinta is a fantastic place to stay! It was very clean, the rooms nice, and not joking, the beds are incredible - the best I've ever slept in! Better than home. We liked the access to the main bike path that runs through town. It's super close and you can get anywhere on your bikes! It made the trip a blast. Free continental breakfast is included! When I searched the different hotels in the area, LaQuinta had one of the best prices, and we could bring our little dog. They were doing some construction, but I appreciate that they were fixing things up, so didn't bother me at all. I would definately stay here again and recommend it highly! The staff was nice and helpful as well. Housekeeping did a great job! Enjoy!....
