Doors not aligned right, walls aren't sound proof, some rooms have a terrible odor (like bug spray) but with the help of one of the nice housekeepers, she was able to get us another room. The wireless internet service worked.The hotel is worn and very old, they are trying to renovate but I don't think it will help. The hotel is not close to anything exciting or any main attractions. The Continental breakfast is just AWFUL!!!! You don't always have to be so cheap at least spend money on the breakfast you serve. That's why you get what you pay for.

I've stayed at some pretty crappy hotels -- but this one takes the cake. I wasn't expecting a worn-out dump with employees who just don't care...but that sure is what I got.
There is graffiti scratched in the walls and for some reason housekeeping kept skipping my room (I was there for a week). The Wireless Internet went down for 24 hours at one point and the staff didn't know how to reset it.
I ended up checking out early after I returned one evening to find that housekeeping left my door open. Fortunately my laptop was still on the desk.

I have stayed at other La Quinta's and for the price we paid should have gotten nicer. If I want to stay in a Super 8, I book a Super 8.
In fact I have stayed in nicer Super 8's than this La Quinta. The staff was as helpful as they could be, but the hotel made me feel like I had cooties every time I touched something. I was really disappointed and did not realize there was a Hampton almost across the street. Wish I had. I am surprised that the hotel chain puts up with this place. It certainly does not help their image. We would have moved but could not get our money back since we booked on line. One work for this place, ICK!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at this location for one night after the Sheraton overbooked and did not have a room. I just wanted something clean and near the airport. I arrived at 11:00 in the evening. The condition of the room was absolutely disgusting. First I asked for a non-smoking room but the room was obviously smiked in. There was even a used match on the floor when I walked in. The blanket on the bed was in very poor condition (all pilled)and looked like a $5 Walmart special that needed to be thrown away. The worst was the hair on the toliet seat and on the bathroom floor. It was clear that housekeeping was not doing their job.
In the morning I went to the front desk and told them about my experience. They said they would tell the manager but offered not apology or compensation. They even asked me "Well besides these issues, did you enjoy your stay?" I just walked away because the obviously did not get how disgusting the conditions are in their hotel.

That really is the name of the street! This is an old Baymont property that LQ took over. Not particularly clean. Not a good bed.
