This is a solid roadside motel on the interstate highway in Weatherford, just west of Fort Worth. It is of the newer type of La Quintas with interior hallways. The hotel is probably 3-4 years old. Room was clean, with the exception of a water filled ice bucket left on the floor of the bathroom. Beds were quite comfortable, better than I remember from the last time I used a La Quinta several years ago. Linens weren't fancy, but were fairly soft. Bathroom was functional and clean, nothing fancy. There was a pool which we didn't use. There were several meeting rooms which you could use if you were there on business. High speed internet was not wireless, but it was free and easy to use. Continental breakfast was fairly basic with coffee, juice, cereal, donuts, pastries, bagels. One nice touch was the do-it-yourself waffle maker. Special note: we chose this motel specifically because La Quinta is pet friendly and does not charge an extra fee for pets in the room. I want to commend La Quinta for this policy and will continue to use them when I'm on road trips with my dogs as long as they continue with this policy. All in all a pleasant stay. I'd recommend this motel to anyone traveling through Weatherford. It is much nicer than the Hampton Inn which is right across the interstate. We stayed at the Hampton earlier this year and it is in need of a facelift.
