My boyfriend and I stayed at the LaQuinta for one night in July and I was very very pleased. The room was nice, we upgraded for free to a King room instead of the two doubles I had booked, and the service was awesome. George was working at the front desk both times I was down and he was very nice. I booked this hotel for $65.00 per night so, for that rate, I'd say it was one of the nicest stays I've ever had in a hotel. The bed was comfortable, although I always bring my own pillow so I can't say anything about those. The room was spotless and everything, including the towels, looked to be in great condition. This hotel is pet friendly but the only time I even heard anything was around 9pm someone must have been coming back from walking their dog because we heard one barking as it passed our room. They had basic cable, movies to purchase, and all the things we needed for our one night stay. We did not take advantage of the continental breakfast due to the Cracker Barrel Store that was right next door. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and service oriented place to stay.

My family of six spent one night in two rooms at this hotel. We called as we drove on I-75 to inquire on availability. The front desk person quoted us a rate that was higher than the internet rate, but when asked, honored the internet rate. The front desk person took our reservation and didn't even require a credit card to hold the rooms since we would be arriving in less than an hour. The rooms were clean and neat. We were pleased with the nice tile work in the tub/bath/sink area. Wi-Fi was available for free in the rooms. Everything was clean and neat in both the rooms and the lobby.
The breakfast was only okay - but it is free. The waffles weren't very tasty but the apples and bagels were great.
We usually stay in marriott chain hotels and decided to try this because the Fairfield could sleep only four of us and two rooms there would have been over $225. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and two rooms only cost us $140. We joined their frequent guest program and look forward to trying out this chain again on our way to some other destination.
seems run down

I traveled with four young children (3 - 8 yrs) and this hotel was great! The room was perfect (and roomy), the employees were all very friendly (even with my gaggle of kids!), and the breakfast was very good.
Having four little kids sometimes puts hotel employees on edge, but everyone was VERY accomodating and helpful!

we stayed at LaQuinta Hotel in Lexington during college move in. The hotel is convenient to accessing key routes. The hotel is fine, but needs some basic maintenance (peeling ceiling, missing tiles, etc.) but it was clean enough. The outdoor pool is excellent and even has pool toys (floaties, balls, etc). we were here during the excessive heat wave and the pool felt even better!!! The continental breakfast is your basic fare but they do have make your own waffles.
