This motel is very good for the price. If you want it to be like a Marriot or Omni, then stay at one of those for $200 per night. However, for $50-$60 per night, you can't really do any better than this. The room was very clean. The front desk agent was very friendly. And the continental breakfast was better than average (make your own waffles, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and bagels, cereal, etc.). Yes, it is behind a shopping center, but it's a nice shopping center (P.F. Chang's, Carraba's, Barnes and Noble, etc.). :) The neighborhood is not threatening at all. There's no noise from the interstate, because there is another building between. It's an enter-from-the-outside style motel, but it seemed perfectly safe. I've stayed at a lot worse for a lot more money.

I was afraid I'd want to leave when I saw the location, with the mini mall on one side and 85 on the other.
However, the lobby was immaculate, the front desk more than helpful so I checked in.
The room while not fancy, was very clean, didn't smell like a hotel/motel and the ultimate make/break deal was the spotless bathroom and closet.
It was fairly quiet given I faced 85, and I would definately stay here again.

I never seen worst hotels then this one, maybe because I am use to Hilton, Omni, or others that let their reptutation speak for themselves. This trip we needed not to spend so much money since only being in town for one night for a reception. Good price, but if you are use to being comfortable when traveling, this is not the place for you. First of all, the bathroon was not clean and towels were refolded up from the last guest stay (yes that obvious). If you don't mind other peoples pubs being on the bathroon floor from the prevoius stay, then you are not as picky as I am. Utenstils for coffee were aleady opened and sofa had dirt marks on it that weren't not cleaned/wiped off by housekeeping, I didn't want my four year old going nowhere near it. Floor could've been vaccumed, but we seen all the warning signs when we pulled up around the hotel to walk in, with dog pup everywhere, elevators were disgusting, hallway floors were not pleasant as well. Would never stay at another La Quinta Inn. This is clearly not the type of hotel for an all night stay.

Room was clean and well laid out. Not as nice as a Marriot but I suppose the price reflects that.
The premises were somewhat run down but the room was well maintained.
The desk people were very helpful. We had accidently forgotten to specify a non-smoking room. Even though they were out of non-smoking rooms when we arrived, they worked extra hard so that we wouldn't need to stay in a smokey room.
One other note that has nothing to do with the room but with Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. A few times now I've booked with Travelocity. Upon checkout, I noticed the price printed on the receipt was $33 less than what Travelocity charged me. I checked my credit card statement and the price Travelocity gave me was the price charged and not the lesser amount shown on my receipt. I don't know what that means or how to get the lower rate next time. Maybe I need to make the reservations directly with the motel?

I booked a room here as I was traveling w/ my 10 y.o. daughter to go look at 2 litters of puppies and knew she might pick one that was old enough to come home with us....thus we needed a 'pet friendly' place to stay. It wound up being just the 2 of us, and I must say that if I had a laptop computer w/ me and wasn't so bone tired, I would've likely canceled the reservation and stayed elsewhere. The LQ's room doors open straight to the great outdoors, a security issue for me as a woman. I was put on the back side of the building which is directly (and rather closely) behind a strip mall; the LQ itself is set a fair amount back from the road....again, a bit isolated, a little dangerous at least theoretically. The "NON"-smoking room absolutely REEKED of smoke and had I not been accompanied by a 10 y.o. who was so exhausted she was nearly crying, I would've requested a room change despite my own fatigue. Everything I had with me night before last still stinks of smoke, which unfortunately includes a pillow I'd brought with me. The room was clean beyond the smoke and was adequate. I will say that the Continental breakfast was unexpectedly very good, with Otis Spunkmeyer muffins and bagels, a wafflemaker, cereals, and fresh fruit. Check-out was speedy. I guess if I was a man who smoked or didn't mind smoke, it would've been just fine. However, it was not the place for me and I do not intend to repeat the stay when I travel the same route again in 2 weeks.
