We stayed twice across 2 different trips to the city. The hotel is on Rue du Faubourg and is in walking distance to the Champs Eleysee. The staff was friendly, but not very organized. We arrived early at 9:30AM and had to wait until 3PM for a room, but the room was large, and well maintained. When planning the trip, I couldn't find anything definite about Paris hotels, so I wanted to say that this hotel is a good value, and everything works. No plumbing problems which plague France, no nasty, stuffy conceirge, just fun. Lounge off the lobby serves drinks, coffee or whatever you need as long as there is a bellhop around. Taxis come when called, even when a strike is threatened as happened on our trip. Out the hotel to the right is a small place for breakfast (Mi Do Re), which was excellent. The staff speaks no English, but you just point, and they get it. We also stayed at a Best Western in Cannes, and it too was lovely. Have a great trip.

When we decided to visit Paris we had no idea where to stay. I read numerous reviews of different hotels warning against small rooms and high prices. I have stayed at quite a lot of Best Westerns and have never had to complain so choose this hotel for location and price. The hotel is within walking distance of many tube stations so we very easy to find on arrival. Check-in went very smoothly and took less than a minute so we where happy. We went up to our room and where nicely surprised, it was clean and a reasonable size. When had a television and mini bar (which was stocked!) . We also had a kettle with tea and coffee so we where well catered for. The bathroom was also very clean and looked pretty new, it even had complimentary amenities. Now I am not claiming this is four star as it definetly isn't however for the price and the amount of time we actually spent there it was well worth the money. From the hotel you can walk to the Arc D'Triomphe and also the Champs Elysees quite easily. We even walked to the effiel tower however if your not into walking the tube may be better for this. The hotel automatically adds breakfast to your room bill however will remove it if not taken. We had breakfast out each day so I don't know what it was like however it did seem expensive. One little tip there is a Chinese Restaurant on the Rue D Washington which is not to be missed, they have lots of Koi Carp under the glass floor it is brilliant! One thing also to share is that because we travelled in August a lot of the French restaurants where closed which was a little dissapointing. If you are looking for a clean, reasonable priced hotel in Paris this is for you.

L'hotel è in posizione invidiabile, all'intenro dell'8° arrondissement, non vicinissimo alla metro ma in compenso a due passi dagli Champs Elysees. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare (sul sito Web dell'hotel) un'offerta davvero allettante (500€ per 4 notti in doppia standard, solo pernottamento) che, insieme alla posizione, ci ha convinti a scegliere questa struttura. Abbiamo però trovato la camera non all'altezza di un albergo di questa categoria (4*); in particolare il bagno (sanitari sbreccati, vasca ingiallita, nell'insieme decisamente brutto e deludente. L'hotel è stato ristrutturato di recente e (c'è parso di capire) è diviso in due blocchi affiancati ma separati; abbiamo ipotizzato che uno dei due sia stato rifinito/ristritturato e l'altro no, e che la camera a noi assegnata faccia parte di un blocco di stanze meno eleganti, visto anche la tariffa scontata che abbiamo scelto. Detto questo, se avessimo dovuto pagare la tariffa intera (fino a 300€ a notte senza colazione), penso che saremmo rimasti totalmente delusi; a quel prezzo, tutto sommato, la camera era accettabile e veniva cmq compensata dalla posizione. Abbiamo anche avuto un piccolo problema con il WiFi, in teoria disponibile a pagamento collegandosi direttamente al sito del gestore: non ha mai funzionato, e il concierge c'ha fatto sapere con aria rassegnata che "capita spesso" e che avrebbe provveduto a farci rimborsare l'addebito della carta (15€), come fortunatamente è avvenuto qualche giorno dopo. Avremmo però apprezzato di essere avvertiti di questo problema noto prima di eseguire tutta la procedura e utilizzare la carta, anziché dopo... Inutile pubblicizzare la disponibiità del collegamento senza fili se poi, di fatto, non è possibile utilizzarlo.

This hotel, despite some earlier reviews, really couldn't do enough for us. The front desk (Camellia and Co) were absolutely charming whilst dealing with about 6 requests at once including a non-stop phone. Our room was large, well appointed and the shower excellent. An ironing board and iron were delivered within 4 minutes and taxis were waiting when requested. Yes, the two lifts are small, but how big do you want a lift to be? They work well and the stairs are always an option! Will definitely stay there on all my future Paris visits. Reasonable, delightful and recommended.

Dans cet hôtel, malgré ce que disent certains de nos prédécesseurs, le personnel s’est montré on ne peut plus obligeant. Les réceptionnistes (Camellia and Co) étaient tout à fait charmantes, bien que devant gérer simultanément pas moins de six requêtes, et un téléphone sonnant en permanence. Notre chambre était grande, bien aménagée et dotée d’une douche fantastique. On nous a fourni en 4 minutes une table et un fer à repasser, et c’étaient les taxis demandés qui nous attendaient, et non l’inverse. Les ascenseurs sont petits, en effet, mais cela doit avoir quelle dimension, un ascenseur ? En tut cas ils fonctionnent bien, et de toute façon on peut toujours prendre l’escalier, non ? C’est là que je séjournerai lors de mes prochains voyages à Paris. Abordable et charmant : recommandé !
