Got one room with double bed for $75 through Priceline. I've stayed in other LaQuintas that were not so nice, but this one was definitely above average. Room was very quiet, could hardly hear a sound. Front desk staff friendly and accommodating. Wireless internet worked great. Breakfast choices were a bit limited, and breakfast closes at 9 am. If you don't get there early, most of the food is gone except for cereal.
I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at La Quinta Inn Champaign on 03/29/08. It is a decent hotel. The receptionist was friendly. Called me when I got to my room to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. It was a bit worn at the edges. For example, on the way to my room the walls were a bit damaged and just needed a bit of upkeep. I had a king-bed room. Comfortable, lots of space. The bathroom was clean the the toilet had very, very weak flushing action. I had to hold down the handle for a period of time before all the water had gone down the drain. They offer a basic breakfast, muffins, bagels, hot/cold cereal, etc. I would have given the hotel 4 stars but the hotel seemed so worn down, it wasn't worth the price. If they're going to charge what they do, do some painting, updating, etc.

We were heading to FL for Spring break and needed to beat the snow so we booked a room here at the last minute. Location was good right off of I-57. Breakfast choices were good. The rooms were nothing special and the bedding was right out of a Red Roof or Super 8. I expected a little better quality, but it served it's purpose.

For a run of the mill, inexpensive hotel near shopping and the university, La Quinta is very doable. My husband and I booked the room for a reasonable price, enjoyed the free breakfast and found the front desk staff very helpful. The only problem I experienced was a lack of air circulation in the room. When there are more than two people in the room using the bathroom throughout the day, it can get a little smelly. Fortunately, I never travel without some room spray and things ended up just fine. I have stayed in better hotels, but this place is clean, comfortable, centrally located and is staffed with friendly people.

We typically like to stay at more upscale hotels when on vacation but we stayed at this LaQuinta while moving our family from MN to TN.
We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. From the decor to the employees, everything was above average for what you might expect of a typical LaQuinta. We were so pleased that we chose to stay at a LaQuinta 2 other times since then but we have found that "all LaQuinta's are not created equal" and this one in Champaign, IL has been by far the nicest we've stayed at. I wish there were more like this one!
