We were traveling with a small dog, and we knew La Quinta accepts pets without fees. We'd been driving for 10 hours and didn't feel like searching for a hotel to accept him. The room was ok. Nothing extra.. including NO Refrigerator and No Microwave! The floor was dirty with stains. It was a hotel with entry from the outside, and it was noisy! Our little yorkie was up with every noise. None of us slept well. We had to walk to the front for breakfast (if we chose to eat there), but it was cold, and having a small baby we chose not to. There Is Dunkin Donuts and a Starbucks right there in front of the hotel, and that was convenient.

I travel to Augusta frequently for business and professional reasons and am always looking for a mid-priced good-value hotel. From the reviews on Trip Advisor I selected the La Quinta and this was an outstanding choice. The hotel room was in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and seemed to have been freshly renewed. The water pressure was acceptable, the beds and pillows quite comfortable, and the temperature easily regulated. Indeed, the entire property seemed clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient at check-in and were able to give me a ground floor room and insure that it was a non-smoking room. Check out was quick and easy, and I left a special request for the cleaning staff which they read and fulfilled. One advantage of this hotel is that the rooms exit to the exterior, so that as people are moving about in the morning, you don't hear doors slamming down the hall. There is a Starbucks in front of the hotel and if that's not enough, there's also a Dunkin Donuts, with restaurants within walking distance. It is an economy priced hotel so there are working people staying there who have fun in the evening but since the rooms are external, it really wasn't disturbing. I felt safe and secure there, which is also important. This will be my new "place to stay" in Augusta for the forseeable future.

Nice stay ........ Hotel staff was very helpful ...... The beds were above average for a hotel of this price ..... Big plus was being able to walk to restaurants without having to fight traffice ..... Will stay here again next time we're in Augusta .... Won't even look elsewhere ...........

Room was adequate ... newer furnishings in a older/smaller sized room. Mildew/mold staining on ceiling and wall and mold on back of bathroom door. Ventilation was missing in the very tiny bathroom. Tub needed to be refinished. Otherwise ... easy to get in and out of. Good have in Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks in the parking lot and a Denny's next door. Convenient. Breakfast was good and well presented.

Hotel was clean with free breakfast each morning. 24 hour Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins on the property. On a strip of hotels -- some advertise rooms at 39.95 and below. So, wouldn't pay over $40 or so, but I got it for $25 by shopping around on the net. Would stay here again over the other 2 1/2 to 3 star hotels nearby for twice as much$$$!!
