I was so pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially after reading the reviews regarding renovation. My family and I stayed for five nights in July and I really cannot find one thing to fault. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a junior suite, which was renovated and spotless. The beds were made up as I had requested, the bathrooms were very clean and the room was large and comfortable even for three people. My worry about noise was unfounded as the room was very quiet (and I am a very light sleeper). It helped that the air conditioning for the room had a fan that acted like a white noise machine and kept the room a perfect temperature as well. There was no hallway noise at night - which was greatly appreciated, Although the lobby has been moved, the only thing the renovation affected for us was the logistics of finding our room, (it's a little maze-like), but once we got the hang of it, it was not an issue at all. We used the pool, which was clean and well maintained, although the hot tub was out of order the duration of our stay. The Landau restaurant was extremely good with both excellent food and staff, we ate breakfast there every day and dinner one night. The front desk staff were for the most part pleasant and the concierge helpful. The location is incredible as well. I really only have a few minor complaints, but nothing worth writing about in this review. I would highly recommend this hotel and was pleased to find the renovation had no impact on my stay at all.

We got a chance to visit London on holidays this past May. We stayed at the Langham Hotel just off Regent street. I love "Grande Dame" types of hotels and this one lived up to the description. The location was great. The staff looked after us very well. The bar and restaurant were stunning. We used both. I hope to stay here again when I am next in London (Though I am not sure if my company will splash out on this place!)

We stayed for just one Saturday night for my wife's birthday treat.
Being a corporate travel agent, I am somewhat blase about the claims and realities of high quality hotels.
However, I was driven to submit a highly complimentary comments note to the hotel manager.
The staff were just the best! Highly professional, discrete but above all - friendly.
The hotel is in the process of a major refurbishment - ongoing for another 9 months - but the quality of the 'package' still shone through.
The Landau restaurant was one of the most impressive spaces for dining we have experienced and the food matched. The pre-theatre menu at 2 courses for ?20 had me smiling all the way though the evening. They even let you go back after the theatre for your dessert course! This is the only hotel review I have felt the need to write.

The hotel is undergoing major repairs; hotel entrance is now by side entrance converted into makeshift reception-cum-parlour (which does not even have a proper seating aerea or guest washrooms), and it is only after a long and labyrinthine walk experience that guests get to their rooms.
There should be a warning before booking!
