Our family, 2 adults and 2 boys (7 & 13) stayed at the Peppers Beach Club for 3 nights and loved it. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which is actually a 1 bedroom apt adjoining a Spa Room. We were surprised how much space we had and really could have managed with just the 1 bedroom as there is also a small room with 2 day beds next to the King bedroom. We were on the 2nd floor over looking the pool and even though school holidays had just started it was peaceful & relaxing. The only negative was that there didn't seem to be enough pool loungers to accommodate everyone. Some of the rooms do have their own private sun loungers over the pool area which seemed ideal.
My husband & I ate in the restaurant one night because the kids were not very hungry & wanted room service. We were the only ones in the restaurant but the food was fantastic. I had the barramundi which I would highly recommend.
Contintental Breakfast was very basic with the usual cereals, fruit, juices & bagels. This is included in the price but you can order a cooked breakfast which is extra.
We would stay here again (although we rented a house in Oak Beach before coming to Peppers and we loved that too).
The traveller photos are an excellent example of the resort.

After winning a competition to stay at this resort I checked out the website which looked great & my fiance and I were so excited.
We arrived & before we were even off the bus concierge had unloaded our bags & were waiting to greet us as we stepped off. They lead us thru the stunning open aired reception to check in & collected our key for us and we followed them up to our room. All the way there our concierge was friendly & genuinely interested in talking to us. Once we got to the room he opened the door & let us in & then brought our bags thru for us. He took the time to show us how all the applicances worked as well as the glass bbq on the balcony.
We overlooked the huge lagoon pool & felt like we never wanted to leave the resort to look around town but having said that there are great shops, pubs, resturants, galleries & places to hang out all within a 5 minute walk.
We had the absolute trip of a lifetime & highly recommend everyone try to stay here at least once. The prices are very reasonable for the location & facilities and being in the 1 bedroom suite with your own kitchen saves you a lot of $$$.
We loved The Beach Club so much we are spending our honeymoon next January up there as well...we can't wait it is a truly magnificent place!!!

Very late check was no problem and they organised a car to collect us at Cairns airport (but at a cost of $170) . We were given a nice but small spa room, which was as expected nicely decorated and had a nice clean bathroom and comfy bed. However 10am check out after a post midnight check in & an international flight was not so good and they couldn't extend the time a couple of hours, so overall it was a very expensive 9 hrs. Pool & pool area was lovely but the breakfast wasn't actually that great.

We stayed at Peppers for nine nights over christmas 2007. We were getting married at St Mary's by the Sea in Port Douglas. Overall our stay was first class. We were a party of 14 (7 rooms) we had a mix of appartments and Spa suites. We stayed in both! our view was that the suites are much better. The spa rooms seemed a bit small although other members of our party found them ok. The pool is really good and the location is great - within easy reach of the town. The bar/resturant was average but overall a very relaxed, clean and friendly. Very good apartments in a great localtion 9/10 overall!

Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas is a fantastic apartment hotel really close to both the beach and the main street of Port Douglas. We stayed in a Spa Suite which has a huge spa bath on the balcony. The room itself was not enormous but average for a modern hotel room. The bathroom was very large and shower nice and strong and roomy! (Very important!). Room was spotlessly clean and furnished in a modern fresh style.
Best of all is the HUGE lagoon pool in the middle of the complex. It is the best hotel pool I've come across, with fine white sand forming a beach that goes right into the pool. Families around us were having fun playing in the sand and the water. You can swim over to the poolside restaurant where they will serve a drink while you sit in the pool. (I always love that).
The pool loungers were very comfy with nifty sun shades on each lounger and some large beach "beds" if you don't want a lounger.
Overall the hotel was excellent and staff extremely friendly and eager to please.
