Tipico hotel de lujo de los años sesenta y setenta. Limpio, ordenado y con unservicio correcto. Al ser un hotel tan antiguo (acaba de cumplir 40 años) tiene un lujo inimaginable en los modernos hoteles de playa, y es que la playa está a tiro de escupitajo del hotel. A quien le guste el mar tanto en invierno como en verano le parecerá increible comprobar que el propio hotel hace de rompeolas. Puedes tomar una cerveza en la terraza mientras te salpican las olas, si hay un poco de marejada.

Si quereis un hotel para poder ir a la playa, buscad otro . Nosotros tuvimos que hacemos todos los dias 8 km en coche para ir a una playa que no estuviese llena de fango y suciedad ( y cuando digo suciedad, me refiero a montañas de detergente o algo similar que llegaba flotando con la subida de la marea). Tienen un premio al empleado más simpático, pero nosotros pensamos que se lo tendrían que dar al empleado más vago, puedes esperar un café durante 1 hora y al final no tomártelo. Si quereis comer a medio día, buscad otro hotel, ya que el restaurante está cerrado. Quizás puedas comer una hamburguesa o un sandwich en la cafetería, si te atienden, claro. Los tabiques son muy finos y se escuchan las tuberías de los vecinos, parece que se estén duchando dentro de tu cama. En los alrededores del hotel no hay nada de nada. Hay que coger coche para ir a cualquier parte. En definitiva, una estancia pésima. Queríamos descansar en la playa y aparcar el coche por unos días y ha sido imposible totalmente.

This hotel is one of the few hotels we come back to all the time. Why do we like it so much? 1. setting - beautiful 1-2 story andulisian style building with lush mediterrean gardens 2. location: just on the beach - right on it, as in right on the sand - on the atlantic coast of south of Spain which means: everyday full blue sky and sunny, but with a fresh breeze, so you would never be too hot like in Jerez, Sevilla etc. which are very close and worth a visit! We got married in this hotel and almost every year we stay here one week. We don't have children yet but most certainly we would come back when we do... perfect place for romantic couples, seniors and for families a like... The activities organized by the hotel for young children keeps them busy and means you don't have to take care of them all the time.

Ok good points, Public areas nice and clean. right on beach. Our particular room was very small indeed, it was only standard ,and the furniture was basic even tatty looking, hardly enough room to swing a cat. It is out of the way from resturants so if you wanted to go out at night it was a long long walk., it seemed to be in a residential location, very little going on when we were there, in fact we were the only English people, hardly any english spoken. It was average in our opinion.

Wir waren von dem Hotel sehr angetan. Die Hotel ist zwar schon ca. 40 Jahre alt, aber immer gut in Schuss gehalten worden und mit moderner Technik nachgerüstet (z.B. Internet). Daher gibt es dort auch alten Baumbestand, der Schatten spendet. Die Liegeflächen um das etwas kleine Pool sind zwar nicht sehr groß, dafür gibt es aber die Möglichkeit im Garten zwischen den Gebäuden im Schatten der Palmen zu liegen. Unser Zimmer hatte nach vorn zusätzlich Liegen direkt vor demZimmer mit Blick auf das Meer und nach hinten einen Balkon mit Blick auf die Tennisanlage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Im Bereich Rezeption und Restaurant waren gute bis excellente Deutschkenntnisse vorhanden. Im Restaurant gab es immer wieder einmal einen Themenabend mit zusätzlichen Aufmerksamkeiten (z.B Sherry, Sekt etc) Hotel hat ruhige Lage direkt am Strand. Entlang des Strandes oder parallel zum Strand ist die Altstadt von Rota innerhalb von 25 bis 35 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Busse fahren im 1/2 Stundentakt (Linie 2 und 3) in die Innenstadt für 0,5 Euro pro Person. Überwiegend waren die Gäste aus Spanien. Andere Nationalittäten waren im geringen Umfang auch vertreten. Der Umgang von Gästen und Pesonal war sehr frendlich. Wir können dieses Hotel Paaren/Familien sehr empfehlen.
