Very easy walk from the train station from the airport, just across the road. The hotel is on a quiet sidestreet with lots of sushi bars and a grocer's just down the road and restaurants along the main street which makes it very convenient. When we arrived it was first thing in the morning and they had our room ready. It was on the ground floor which made it a bit dark, but we had a good sized bathroom. Only problem was that the water pressure was very poor and the bath tub had no shower curtain so you had to bathe in a squatting position which isn't comfortable at all. Apart from that, the internet worked fine, the amenities were well provided and the breakfast at 10Euro was delicious. The counter staff were helpful when we asked for suggestions and directions and you should have a look at the wonderful picture book near the entrance. The sofas in the front are cosy and I think this is a great hotel to stay in in the summertime. Hope they upgrade the showers though.

We chose a triple room for our stay The room was very comfortable, and given our experience of Parisian hotels, more than reasonable for the rate charged. The location on the left bank close to the Luxemburg Gardens is wonderful. I would not hesitate in revisiting or recommending this hotel.

We stayed at the Clos Medicis for 4 nights between 19th and 23rd May 2008. The staff and facilities were excellent. The journey to the hotel couldnt be easier from Gare du Nord, just 3 stops on the RER B, just make sure you dont go at rush hour like us! It was very cosy! The room was actually larger than I had imagined and the bathroom was spotless, the shower was wonderful. The matress and bedding was very comfortable. The only downside to this hotel is that it is a good 10 minute walk to any metro station, however, it is also only 10 minutes to St Chappelle and Notre Dame, I guess we were spoilt on our last trip as we had two Metro stations within 2 minutes of our hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends.

great location near lots of shops, bars and restaurants as well as the fabulous jardin de luxembourg. hotel is small and intimate with attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere. our room was average size (big by paris standards!) and the bed very comfy. small but functional bathroom. would recommend this place for the great location and clean environment.

This was my second visit to this hotel. The location is excellent with very close proximity to a metro station. The room is well equipped and very comfortable. Room was on the street side of the hotel and did not hear any noise at night. The staff has been very helpful during both visits. We really appreciated Luigi's assistance during our stay. His recommendations were fantastic and he was very attentive to our needs. I plan on staying at this hotel again.
