Booked this hotel because the website looked very well. But in fact the hotel was too bad. The room was small en very sober with a tiny window facing a wall. Breakfast was nothing special. The hotel is claiming to be a trendy design hotel, but there is nothing trendy in the hotel! Especially the rooms are far from that. It is very overrated I think. The only good thing is the location: opposite Vondelpark in a very good, central neighbourhood.

Booked this hotel as a last minute deal for Queens Day. Good location, close enough to action yet reasonably quiet and my single room was very adequate with good design and nice bathroom. At 90euros per night it was the upper end of my budjet however I cant complain given I got it on2weeks notice when everywhere else was fully booked. Receptionist was a bit chilly and some of the internet computers did not work but all in all a pleasant stay.

Although the hotel is a 10 min tram trip to the old centre, its in a really nice location just by the park and behind a very posh shopping street. We didnt mind having to jump on the tram but you will need to use a cab if your staying out late as the trams stop and I dont think you could walk it back easily. I think we were given one of the worse rooms as we did get a good deal on the hotel. It was very small and basic but the bed was comfy and if your not planning to stay in your room other than to sleep its all you really need. The downstairs of the hotel is really nice and Im sure from what others have said that there are some good rooms. Overall, good location and good value for money compared to other places we looked at. However its pretty basic and if you want to be in the centre of it all its probably not for you.

stayed there for 1 night in a double room. very pleasant atmosphere and helping staff. room was pretty big, but cousy and well decorated (if anyone finds it important). bathroom was clean and shiny. the place is well maintained, clean and smells good :) breakfast was the best I ever had in mid range hotels. the only downside is the 10 minute walk to tram. though in walking distance from major museums, and the near Vondelpark is a nice walk. an overall great hotel for the price (paid 100e inc brkfst), if this is your price range definitely take it.
