centrally located and within easy reach of shops/attractions.staff were pleasant and helpful.bedroom was up to expected standard.restaurant was spacious and food excellent. Booked early this year so got special deal of 3 nights for price of 2.Liked it that much last year-staying again there this coming weekend.highly recommended. Melypoo of Doncaster/South yorks.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of June 2008 with my dad and my 2 young children(aged 2 & 4). It was in a fabulous location - right opposite St Helier harbour and 2 mins walk to the main bus station. The room was clean and spacious, but most of the day and especially at night there was a constant humming noise coming from the bar downstairs I believe. We were on the 1st floor - room 113. Apart from that which was just about bearable it was a great hotel. The breakfasts were fanastic. A wide selection from English fry up to fresh fruit, pastries and cereal. Not really a child friendly hotel but more suited to couples or business travellers.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at Pomme D'or Hotel. Flew from London City Airport on VLM Airlines - no problems (and was lovely not to have to walk miles in an airport !!). Arrived about 11.00am, luckily our room was ready. Lovely room, with all normal amenities. Bathroom was wonderful, although small so much thought had been put into facilities.. Food was excellant . Breakfast was lovely, so much choice. We had the half - board option. Dinner in all 3 nights was great. My only niggle was that I had booked and paid extra for a Harbour View Room, unfortunately Liberation Square is the local hang-out for every teenager in Jersey. So we did not get much sleep Friday & Sat night until 2.30am !!! We hired a car and had it delivered to Hotel on Sat morning - I would recomend anyone to do this as parking is a bit of a nightmare. As reported previously the Hotel has no parking. You can drop of and pick-up outside. The nearest car park is the Esplanade - which is just pass the bus station.. Had no problems parking - although it does say you can only park 12 hours out of 24. I did go in the Tourist Board to ask about this as I was parking the car about 18.00 and picking up around 10.00am. They assured me there would be no problem - which there was not. I must add that we have a Disabled Blue Badge - so dont know if that made any difference. Would have been nice if Hotel had some entertainment in the evening.. Excellant stay and I thoroughly recomend this Hotel.

We first visited this hotel in 2007. We've been back again to the "Pomme" in 2008 and this time took our very best friends for a big birthday break. Would we have risked spoiling that if we didn't know just how good the hotel was? And of course it was superb. Even better than we remembered it. One of our friends said it was the nicest hotel she has ever stayed in. Thanks again to all the wonderful staff.
