I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past few years. It is inexpensive, but nice. The bathrooms are actually quite large and comfortable for the price. I would highly recommend getting a room facing the street, however because some rooms overlook the courtyard/alley and it is not pretty. Clean, cheap, great location and great balconies.

This is a real find. Location is excellent - just a block back from the Marais and walking distance to Notre Dame and Isle St. Louis. Rooms are small but the bathrooms are huge - largest I have had in Paris. Ask for rooms at the back if noise is an issue - front facing rooms do tend to be noisy. We negotiated breakfast included in our rate but even paying full price it's generous. Plate of croissant, pain au choc and bread; yoghurt; cereals; fruit juice; salami and cheese; fruit salad. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for five days on March 26 at this hotel. The best feature is it's location, near the river Seine, Notre Damme, Louvre. It is situated on the Rue Rivoli, between St. Paul and Hotel De Ville Metro Stations. Otherwise, the rooms are small with worn out carpets and bedcovers. The en suite bathroom was big, which is not very common in French hotels. Central heating worked well too. Breakfast is not included, and it's price is too high for it's value. You can have an excellent breakfast for half the price in any of the nearby patisseries. Don't buy a week long metro pass, better to hop on and off the L'Open Tour bus for two days and pay with individual metro tickets the rest of your stay. The best way to get to know Paris is on foot! Front rooms are noisy, better a back room without a view.

Stayed there for weekend of the Ireland v France rugby game, Six Nations 2008. Location was excellent but was not overly impressed with the hotel. Rooms are clean but very small and basic, no tea or coffee making facilities, no minibar etc. The night porter was obviously not bothered about noise in the hotel as we were woken by another drunken guest hammering on our room door late at night. He was looking for his friends room apparently! Did'nt give us the impression that it was the most secure and safe place to be staying. Would'nt stay there again.

just a few blocks east of Hotel de Ville. Great location and easy access to metro, and RER is just over the bridge at Notre Dame. Room was small (most hotel rooms in this price range are typical "paris small". ) Bathroom was really quite large and spotless. They have an elevator and breakfast is served daily. Wall mounted flat screen TV but only gets a lot of channels and only BBC is in English....but you are not in Paris to watch TV. I really liked the unstocked refrigerator in the room....great for picking up a few item to have in the room. Front desk staff spoke english and were VERY pleasant and accomodating. I will stay here again and again. Hotel room has air conditioning and radiator heat.
