We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is very dated, unclean and generally not at all as advertised on the internet which displayed pictures that in no way matched the room we were offered. We arrived to find a courtyard room for 3 that was filthy, had minimal security (an adjoining door did not close properly) and tiny. Even for a budget hotel this was awful. After complaining about the room we were moved to a larger room that was no more clean (bathroom not mopped, carpet not vacuumed and table not clean) but at least felt safer.
Manager was OK (he obviously had lots of complaints and was used to dealing with it) but staff were generally bored, blunt and unhelpful. The only redeeming feature is the location.

This hotel is located across the street from the largest train station in Melbourne, a plus. It is also walking distrance to the Crowne Casino, also a plus. A couple of small groceries are also nearby, another plus. And, bus/tram transportation in Melbourne is either free or very economical. The hotel is okay but DON'T stay in a budget suite unless you are travelling alone. Two people cannot move around in this size room. My husband and I upgraded to a 'deluxe' room and it was comperable to a regular motel room in the USA. The front desk staff was less friendly than I would have like, but over-all, I would stay again for the location benefits.

Me and my mates stayed at hotel enterprize for the formula 1 grand prix, and i cannot express how much i enjoyed my stay at the hotel.
when we got to the hotel the rooms we ready for us to put our stuff in. because we spent so much on our trip (the airfare, the tickets and the hotel) we got a free upgrade to a different room. my mate smokes so he got the courtyard room and we got the free upgrade room.
the free upgrade room was excellent, we had two double beds in the room, a mini bar (overpriced, but we had our own drinks) there was nothing wrong with our room expect that the shower only had a mist to it, but we got through it ok.
The hotel is in an excellent place, being that spencer street train station was straight across from our hotel, and thats where the airport shuttle bus drops ya off. there is a 5 minute walk to the casino and the yarra river which is magical to look at at night time. DPO, is another 5min walk if lucky and its a shoppers heaven.
There is a free tram ride throgh the city i loved bourke strett, (more shopping) and the ice bar is a thing to check out to, so is the ratilo towers (theres 2 of them)
Me and my mates are heading back to melbourne next year for the formula 1 gp again. i just love it.

This was an interesting hotel for sure. It was undergoing renovations and the staff were quite pleased to offer us a renovated room.
They seem to believe in dividing a regular hotel room up into a number of smaller rooms.
Our room had no view from the window except a back space between 2 buildings the size of a regular bathroom.
They warned us that there would be constuction daily from 8-4 and there was. Fortunately we did not spend much time in our room anyway.
The bedroom was divided from both the bathroom and living room parts by glass walls which neither kept out the noise nor the view, so we were not sure what the point was of the glass walls in the first place.
It was however, well appointed and certainly interesting!
