Stayed at the Sorrento Beach Resort for one night in a spa apartment. The resort is extremely clean and tidy and just what is expected for the type of property it is. Rooms were very large, clean and well appointed. Would recommend to a family visiting Perth.

after a miserable couple of days staying at the parmelia hilton in perth it was such a pleasure to stay at the coast in the Sorrento Beach Resort, we would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.Staff were wonderful and helpful, location was central and just a short hurl in the car to pick up the train into central perth.Did not use the dining facility on site but the resort is also located adjacent to one of the most raved about restaurants in perth and is within walking distance of the harbour where there was an excellent choice. Rooms were clean and had all facilities we expected.do not understand one of the earlier reviews about the internet as it was free.

Used the Sorrento Beach Resort as a base during a vacation back to our old home of Perth. Its an average type resort. Nothing outstanding, but clean and generally well equipped. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It provided good space and the general setup and quality of the room and fittings was fine. This resort has been around for a few years, but it would still meet most peoples needs. The location is just across from a nice beach and Hillary's Marina with all its tourist shops and restaurants is a 5 minute walk. There is a very nice restauarant called White Salt just across the street from the resort and that same plaza has a liquor store. You will need a car if you stay here, as public transport is not frequent enough. We would stay here again.

We were moved to Sorrento Beach Resort by Discover West Holidays after being bitterly disappointed by our original choice "Seashells" at Scarborough. What a contrast.... Sorrento is clean, modern, with spacious units (our spa bathroom was the biggest we had in our 7week RTW trip) and had a well equipped kitchen. The location is great, very handy for the facilities at Hillarys, close to the shoppng mall at Whitfords, an easy ride into Perth CBD either by car or on the train and across the road from the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wow, we couldn't believe our luck, we got upgraded to a one bedroom deluxe apartment (from a studio), which had a jacuzzi in the bathroom and separate shower that you could have fitted 8 people. The apartment was clean, well maintained and decorated, and had more than sufficient utensils etc for use. The complex is located within easy walking distance of Sorrento Harbour with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from. As a must, book to go whale watching, absolutely brilliant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
