Located at a busy road you’ll find this larger hotel with an elegant lobby where you’ll be able to see into the aside casino. My very spacious room on the 3rd floor had a large king size bed, inroom safe, ironing set, large bathroom. The free WIFI connection was awful which had been confirmed by my business partners. The window wasn’t too much soundproof. The breakfast buffet had a good choice. Don’t miss the pool with the nice view, even for a drink in the evening. There’s also a fitness room aside. You have to hurry to get a drink: at the casino they don’t serve alcohol after midnight but at the hotel bar/club.

The facilities of this hotel are not congruent with a solid 4 star hotel. It is more of a weak 4 star one. At first, we were assigned a room in a very poor condition (water leaking, wore out furniture, smelly, etc), and then when we asked for a room change they assigned us a proper room (took them 4 hours to do so). The lady responsible for the client service (concierge) was not at her desk most of the time, so we never had the chance to ask her for directions or place to go and dine out. Front desk employees really make an effort to please the customer but they are terrible at giving directions and recommending restaurants or pubs. Overall I would rate this experience as below average. I would recommend you try to book other hotel.

The best in the North!!!!! This Hotel has excellent service. It is an independent chain of Hotels and they give excellent service. They have Airport pick up service. The Suite we stayed in was great. The Breakfast was awesome. The security is great there was a guard on each floor. The parking was underground and there even a guard there. If you want to relax then this is it.

This was my first time ever to visit the Dominican Republic but due to work, I'll be there 3 or 4 more times before 2007 ends, and one good thing, is I know I have a perfect hotel. The rooms are nice, the A/C is nice and cool, and the bed is comfortable. Shower has very good water pressure. The mini bar is stacked and cold El Presidente beer was always nice. Room service was EXCELLENT! The best tasting hotel food I have ever had...personal favorite was the Fettuccini Alfredo. A huge portion for less than $10. TV's were rather small but a fair share of English and Spanish stations...and quite a variety of porn stations if that's your thing. Free WiFi in the room is not slow, or fast...just ok. The hotel bar, Las Tapas, makes great drinks and friendly service to go along with a big screen TV to watch a game. There is also a "dance club" in the hotel that I did not visit. The casino is small but does off Roulette & Black Jack....kind of questionable so don't expect to win big. Morning breakfast buffet was very good with fresh fruit and an assortment of items including a chef to prepare a fresh omelotte. Negatives? The maids do a so-so job of cleaning the room. Casino dealers are not friendly, more robotic, frequent 10-20 second power outtages. Overall, nice hotel....obviously had the American business travelor in mind. Totally recommend.

This hotel is considered one of the premier business hotels in Santiago. The rooms are a bit old and the service somewhat slow, but the overall experience is above-average for a visit to the Dominican Republic. Good restaurants and an adjacent casino will make your stay very enjoyable. The hotel is approximately 12 minutes from the Santiago airport and is conveniently located to shopping and tourism venues. Highly recommended.
