I stayed at this hotel on business for 3 weeks during the month of June, and neither I nor my colleagues could wait to get out by the end!
I had a Deluxe Double room, which is their best group of rooms at 161 pounds a night. It was a big room, but lacked any sort of charm. The decor was depressing, the facilities basic and unbelivably for a new hotel, has NO air-conditioning! So ventilation was non-existent.
Breakfast was a disgrace for a supposed 4 star hotel, the selection poor and the coffee, which must have been left sitting around, was the worst I've ever tasted.
Besides the obvious conference facilities, there were no amenities for guests at all. No health facilities. No late night bar. We frequently came back after 11.30 at night to find everything shut. Parking is expensive as you have to park in the shopping centre (which shuts at 6.30pm!) below the hotel.
It was also incredibly noisy. On one side of the hotel there was building work right next to the hotel so my colleagues were woken at 7am by bulldozers and demolishing equipment while on the other side is the loudest Church bells you've ever heard!
Just to top things off, when I checked out they charged me an extra 75 pounds as my girlfriend came to stay for the final 3 nights. She didn't have breakfast (I'd long given up!) or use any of the hotel's non-existent facilities but apparently 161 pounds a night (and my company paying for 12 rooms for 3 weeks) isn't enough for them! It left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Hotel Arte is a establishment aimed at the buisness market but with a more practible outlook not meerley to fleece those on expense accounts. I stayed at the weekend so it was fairly quite.with a small conference or study group of young people whom were catered for seperately.
The restaurant had a good choice with reasonable prices and I sat outside and watched the football world cup on a screen which had been especially erected.
Breakfast was to the normal swiss formula with plenty of choice.
The rooms were large with WC, bath and shower and a well stocked minibar.
I payed 120 SFr weekend rate.
