Si lo que quieres es una habitación de buena calidad en el corazón de la ciudad pero no necesitas demasiadas instalaciones, en tal caso recomendaría un hotel como éste tan bien gestionado. Maravillosamente ubicado al lado del río y cerca de todo pero sin ruidos. La habitación estaba en muy buen estado, cómoda y bien equipada aunque con poco lujo, para mí es el paradigma de 4 estrellas. Había una caja fuerte y un minibar, aunque no parecía haber utensilios para prepararse un té, pero para decir la verdad ni la suelo usar ni parece ser algo omnipresente fuera de Gran Bretaña. Las instalaciones de la planta baja están bien, pero no merece la pena alojarse allí ya que no hay desayuno, aunque tampoco es tan importante porque hay docenas de cafeterías, restaurantes, bares y tiendas en las inmediaciones. El precio por habitación que conseguí a través de booking.com ofrecía una buena relación calidad-precio para ser un hotel de Ginebra, de esta clase y ubicación.

The hotel is well located and with nice rooms. I was in town for a conference and stayed there for three nights. My two colleagues and I left our baggage with a receptionist at check out time (to be stored until late afternoon). I was very happy for not leaving my passport in my luggage.... When we came to pick up our bags, they was not there. Our luggage was stolen right from the lobby, in the middle of beautiful Geneva! The hotel manager was not very cooperative and a little annoyed by us. Not even a "sorry" for what happened. I guess, as long as you do not leave your luggage in the storage room, you could enjoy your stay at not too Midi.

Se cercate una camera di un certo livello nel cuore della città, ma allo stesso tempo avete bisogno di alcuni servizi aggiuntivi, allora vi consiglierei il Du Midi che è davvero ben gestito. Meravigliosa posizione vicino al fiume: vicino a tutto, ma senza essere rumoroso. La camera era molto curata, accogliente e ben attrezzata pur senza essere propriamente lussuosa; per me questa è la definizione di un quattro stelle. C’era la cassaforte e il minibar, ma può darsi che non ci fosse il necessario per farsi un tè o un caffè (che non uso mai e che comunque non è così diffuso al di fuori del Regno Unito). Le strutture che trovate di sotto non sono male, ma di certo non sono così belle da farvi rimanere in albergo, né lo è la colazione, ma questo davvero non importa dato che vi trovate vicinissimi a dozzine di ristoranti, caffè, bar e negozi. Il prezzo della camera, che ho prenotato tramite booking.com, rappresentava un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo considerato il livello dell’albergo e la sua ubicazione.

If you want a good quality room in the heart of town, while requiring few add-on facilities, then I'd recommend this well-run hotel. Wonderful location by the river: central to everything, without being noisy. Room was very well maintained, comfortable and well-equipped whilst just short of luxurious -- for me the very epitome of 4-star. There was a safe and a minibar, but possibly not tea-making facilites (which I never use and anyway aren't ubiquitous outside Britain) Downstairs facilities are OK, but not especially worth staying in for, nor breakfast, but this matters little since you are moments from dozens of cafes, restaurants, bars and stores. My room rate via booking.com was good value for Geneva accommodation of this class and location.

Wenn Sie ein qualitativ gutes Zimmer im Herzen der Stadt möchten und sich dabei ein paar Zusatzeinrichtungen wünschen, dann würde ich dieses gut geführte Hotel empfehlen. Wundervolle Lage am Fluss: zentral zu allem, ohne laut zu sei. Das Zimmer war sehr gut gepflegt, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet, wobei es fast schon luxuriös war – für mich der Inbegriff eines 4-Sternehotels. Es gab einen Safe und eine Minibar, aber vielleicht keine Möglichkeit zum Teekochen (was ich nie brauche und sowieso nicht verbreitet ist außerhalb Englands). Die Einrichtungen im unteren Bereich sind OK, aber nicht so besonders, dass sich dafür ein Aufenthalt hier lohnen würde, was auch für das Frühstück gilt, aber das macht fast nichts, da dutzende Cafes, Restaurants, Bars und Läden nur einen Moment entfernt sind. Mein Zimmerpreis via booking.com war ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für ein Genfer Hotel dieser Klasse und in dieser Lage.
