We really enjoyed our stay at the M Grande. We were only in Myrtle Beach for one night, but I'm happy that we stayed there. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked new and updated, and the room was very clean. We had a great ocean front view, and the parts of the hotel we saw were very clean. The people at the front counter were also very friendly. We didn't go to the pool so I can't comment on that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is WAY overpriced for the stay. The towels were dingy looking. The sheets were clean. The TV partially worked. The room was clean, but the hotel hallways were covered in a "red" substance. We later found out it was kool-aid. It wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed, but it should have been priced cheaper than we paid.

The Hotel was clean in all aspects . The staff was nice at all times. The price was good . BUT being that it was listed as a Resort & Spa you would think that there would be a SPA . Sorry its not the busy season yet . Also a restaurant & Bar . Sorry only on the weekend , its not the busy season yet . I also asked at the time of making the reservation . Is there any construction being planned for that time?? NO there is not . On the ONLY nice day down there I was laying by the pool when I started hearing BANG BANG BANG wouldn't you know there doing construction , I think remodeling the SPA . I read all of the information on the M GRANDE RESORT & SPA website and talked directly to them to make reservations . there was nothing posted or told to me about not being open , restricted times ,and was told no about construction .

My wife and I stayed at the M Grand one night, April 26, 2008. We had an excellent experience. The room had two doubles and faced the ocean, with a balcony, fridge, microwave, and coffemaker (all as advertised). It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was good and hot -- our criteria for good value for the money. The rate was very reasonable in comparison to other places on the beach. We didn't try the pools (indoor and outdoor), the hot tub, the Beach bar, or the restaurant, so can't comment on those. The staff was great, both pleasant and helpful. They found us a bottle opener and even provided a parking pass for friends visiting with a small RV. We highly recommend the M Grand and intend to return.

I stayed at the M Grande for one night over spring break and was rather wary due to the somewhat conflicting reviews I have read on here. As I entered the lobby to check in, my first thought was "wow where is the outdated lobby and smelly carpet". Upon speaking to the clerk my thoughts were "wow where is the rude staff?" and upon going to my room my thoughts were "where are the nasty outdated rundown hallways?" this must not be the same M Grande! I stayed only one night here and 4 nights in a five-star resort and found that the M Grande was very impressive. The Bed linens are amazing for the price of the hotel, the decor is modern and unobtrusive. The inside pool is rather small but very well taken care of and heated VERY well. The pool had ample clean towels and the concrete around the pool had recently been acid washed (pleasant suprise). The parking deck is more than ample and actually quite spacious compared to some that I have seen in Myrtle. I was impressed with the staff and left with a smile on my face. I cannot think of one thing to complain about, The only thing that I think may get annoying on an extended stay would be the rather old and slow elevator system, but that was a small nuisance to me.
