Hotel location is good cause it is near metro, and tram station is right in front of hotel. Everything in hotel is basic, it is a good place to stay if you want to save money and if you are travelling alone (I would never bring my girlfriend there)

me and a frd stayed at the hotel for 3 days. We booked it because it was cheapest around central vienna. The best way to get there is to travel with the airport bus to the West Station (Westbanoff), which is every 30 mins. But since the City Airport Transport is every 30 mins anyway, it is the faster to take the West station bound airport coach. Once arrived at the West Station, you can take U6 and it is only 4 stops away (Alser Strasse). We were allocated a room on the 5 floor, and it was very very quiet. We found out most of the rooms are toilet and shower facilities combined in one, except our room. (Room 501), so it is larger than average as it is at the end of corridor. The breakfast is ok and travelling to Central Vienna takes at most 15 minutes. If you are hungry, there's a McDonald just opposite to Hotel. Overall, I'm quite happy with my choice, and as long as I get the same room, I'm happy to stay again

Hello, Me and my boyfriend spent 3 nights at DonauWalzer in March 2008 and we enjoyed it. It's a good hotel for people who are interested in a budget vacation. Great breakfast, very rich. Clean rooms, small indeed but comfortable. The staff was very nice to us, I had a small accident at breakfast one morning, I stumbled on the stairs and felt and they jumped right away to help me, to provide ice and so on. We asked for a hairdryer and it was brought to our room right away. The hotel is very close to the metro and is easy to get back to from every point in Wien. We enjoyed our staying there and we would recommend it to people who want to have a nice vacation at a small price.

Entgegen den negativen Kritiken der Vergangenheit müssen wir sagen, dass wir bei unserem Aufenthalt etwas anders gesehen haben. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer im 3.OG war zum Hof und sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer ist sauber und wird sehr liebevoll gereinigt (=Bettenaufbauten). Das Bad ist neu und gleichfalls sehr sauber. Frühstückbuffet ist mehr als ausreichend und für 9,00€ eine gute Auswahl!!! Verkehrsanbindungen sind optimal (Bahn 44 direkt 10m vom Haus bzw. U6 ca. 150 m) direkt zum Schottentor bzw. in die City. Die Sauna im Haus ist klein aber fein. Rundum ein sehr ansprechbares Haus und wir werden sicherlich dort wieder buchen.
