I stayed here during my honeymoon on the way to Salzburg from Vienna. It is a rather character-less business type of hotel which suited our needs fine. The location was good. There was a huge empty parking lot out front of the hotel that we had to pay 13 Euro to park in. Also, breakfast was 14 Euro! I would definitely skip that. Overall a fine stay but I would rather have stayed in a hotel that catered more to the desires of a tourist rather than business person that can expense everything and doesn't care as much for character.

Ich habe hier Ende August zwei Tage Station gemacht, als ich auf dem Weg von Wien nach Salzburg war. Es lohnt sich durchaus, in Linz ein paar Tage zu verbringen und ich kann dieses Hotel auch empfehlen, es war komfortabel und praktisch. Fragen Sie am besten nach einem höherliegenden Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. Das Frühstücksbüfett im Hotel war großartig. Es war das beste Frühstück der drei Hotels, in denen ich in Österreich übernachtet habe. Ich habe einmal auch im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und auch das war sehr gut, wenn auch ein wenig teuer. Das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage am Ufer der Donau und liegt nur 10 Minuten von der Linzer Innenstadt entfernt. Es war ein gut geführtes Hotel und das Personal war zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wenn ich noch einmal nach Linz komme, würde ich wieder in dieses Hotel gehen.

Stayed here for 2 days at the end of August as a stopover on my way from Vienna to Salzburg. Linz is well worth visiting for a couple of days and I can recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience. Ask for a room with a Danube view if possible and on one of the upper floors. This hotel has a great buffet breakfast, the best of the 3 hotels I stayed in in Austria and I also ate dinner in the restaurant one night which was excellent but a little bit expensive. The hotel is nicely located on the banks of the Danube and is only 10 mins walk into the centre of Linz, it is very well run and staff are courteous and helpful, would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Linz.

Im Hotel befindet sich die Disko „Beluga“, die die ganze Nacht laut war. Man konnte unmöglich Schlafen. Ein Angestellter sagte uns, dass die Disko nicht direkt zum Hotel gehört, sondern vermietet ist und dass das Hotel vom Betreiber der Disko viel Geld bekommt. Dieses Geld scheint dem Hotel wohl auch um einiges wichtiger zu sein als der Schlaf seiner Gäste!
