Great location in Pest, close to the shopping areas and main attractions. 300 y up the street there is a hub of restaurants and clubs, in a pedestrian street, that in summer nights is all about al-fresco dinning and fun. The piece of furniture in the room, somewhat seemed out of place, more likely for a village in Ibiza than for a hotel in Hungary, a “patio” like type of chairs and tables, that make you wonder what is the point the d?cor tried to make. Nothing to complain about, though. Average room size, standard bed, and clean bathroom. A place to quietly rest after a long day in the tourist run.

A very good hotel in an excellent location near the Opera House. We found the staff to be "average" but thought this might be from the aftermath of communism. Not up to western hotel standards. Overall, a positive hotel stay.

Really nice hotel, in a great location. Everything is within walking distance, the chain bridge, Buda, Lots of restaurants on the pest side, the parliament, shopping fashion street. there is also the metro if want it. We did not see the very large shopping centre so that may be further away but the weather was too nice and there was so much to do it did not bother us. Excellent selection for breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean and fresh, staff very friendly. Good value for money. No complaints!

The K&K Opera has a very good location off Andrassy and adjacent to the Opera. Very efficient though charmless service in the hotel - but that seemed to be the Budapest experience. Good breakfast, comfortable but smallish room with no view. Nice public areas and free internet access. Enjoyed Budapest - it has some great architecture and the Danube is beautiful for a late afternoon trip. Some of the best statues I have seen. Joined a hop on hop off tour that started across from the Meridian Hotel. Budapest experience for 4000 florint including danube cruise. Prices seemed pretty comparable with eating out/drinking at home - ?50 meal with wine. Transfers for two for 11000 florint with http://www.comtohungary.com/ Recommend the restaurants on road on the right as you head down Andrassy towards heroes square. We particularly enjoyed Fresco Cafe. Could be Liszt Ferenc Street.

Very nice hotel, we stayed here for 3 nights for our silver wedding annivesary and we were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is in a very good location near to the opera house and shops and restaurants. We were offered a room overlooking the courtyard which was very good as it was much quieter than those facing the road. The food in the hotel is excellent, the breakfasts are good and we also ate in the bistro which was very good quality if not a bit pricey. The staff are very helpful and they were happy to book restaurants, trips and taxis. We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest so much to see in just 3 days, we would definitely do the hop on hop off bus trip if we were to return. Overall we had a really lovely time and would recommend this hotel.
