I stayed here for one night during a work trip to Melbourne. My one-bedroom apartment was more than adequate, and included a full dining table and well-stocked kitchen, as well as laundry facilities. The location was convenient, and the offered discounted passes to the Melbourne Baths nearby (gym and pool). The main complaint about my accomodation is not the room, but other guests and area traffic. There were groups staying at the complex who were partying well into the night, and coming and going loudly (this was a weeknight!) I am not sure if this is the case all of the time but it was certainly an issue the day I stayed there!

We were a party of 6 family members in Melbourne for a wedding and booked the only 4 bed apartment in this complex. (the only 4 bed apartment I could find in Melbpourne). Huge apartment , recently renovated with air con, and excellent level of eqipment. The staff at reception are good, and nothing was too much trouble. The apartments are used by tourists, business people by the week, and are good value.The outside of these apartments looks a little tired and the stairs are very spartan, but the location is fabulous - walk to the city, or get a tram 2 minutes away. Fitzroy and its eclectic shops, bars and restaurants is an easy walk, and Lygon St a 5 minute taxi ride. If you are on a budget you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. Overall no problems, recommended.

We booked our room through a Getaway promotion and the value for money was excellent. We were upgraded at no extra charge to a 3 bedroom unit on the ground floor which was HUGE with everything we could possibly need - dishwasher, washer, dryer, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and even 3 toilets! Our room had recently been totally refurbished, with new furniture, carpets and fittings and was very tastefully decorated, and very clean. The only things that could be improved were: the top few stairs to the bedrooms squeaked very loudly and the cleaners had not cleaned the courtyard area, leaving the outside furniture very grubby and the ground and garden littered with cigarette butts. In the pool area, the pool and spa were freezing cold and the spa would fit 2 persons max. Other than that, the apartments are a fantastic spot to stay, lovely and quiet but extremely convenient to the city and only a 2 minute walk to the closest tram stop. Would defnitely recommend them despite the couple of very minor problems that we encountered.

Oh my gosh!! We did not get a balcony. The toilet needed to be flushed at least 2 times otherwise toilet paper would resurface. The fridge didn't close properly most of our food went off in the fridge. The fridge wasn't cold enough. The shelf on the fridge door broke so our drinks fell out when we opened the fridge door. The housekeepers put laundry detergent in the dishwasher detergent container (the laundry and dishwasher detergent looked and smelled the same). So there was foam and water floating out of the dishwasher and flooded the kitchen floor!!!! Also they were stingy with toilet paper. Only one roll was given each time. And one time they didn't come to clean on a public holiday and we ran out of toilet paper! It was a horrible place to stay! PS they didn't have "Do not disturb" sign so we had to open the door whenever they came to clean the room, and the first day they came at 9.30am. Too early!
