The view was wonderful. The hotel had been upgraded very nicely for an older hotel. The only problems we had were with housekeeping. Had to remind them to replace t paper, kleenex and coffee. Also the television in the bedroom would not turn off because the power button was broken and it had to be unplugged to turn it off. Told management and got no response. We were there for six days and I don't believe housekeeping vaccumed once.

Stayed for one night on the way between LA and Grand Canyon. Rooms were fine, no problems. Not luxury, but the prices were very cheap so it was as we expected. The swimming pool was very welcome as the temperature was over 100! We had the pool to ourselves, as there didn't seem to be many guests about, but it was september so not suprising. Staff were not overly friendly, but no problems.
I'd recommend the Black Bear Diner which is 5 mins walk away. We had our evening meal and our breakfast there and the service was great. There are quite a few other places to eat nearby too.
In summary, fine for a one night stop. We had no compaints.

Our place to stay in Bullhead. Get one of the suites overlooking the Colorado River; they are large and clean with a mini-kitchen including a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The suites have 2 TV's, 2 air conditioners, but the best is the balcony overlooking the river and the pool. We love to sit on the balcony and watch Ol' Man River go by, or watch (and join) the sometimes boisterous guests around the pool.
This isn't the highest class or best kept place in Bullhead, but the view, and sometimes partying around the pool make it our favorite. We paid $72/night before tax AAA.

What a pit! No internet, fleas, stained furniture, and no ambiance.

What a pit! The name sounds nice, but most rooms stink of smoke, there is no internet, and the furniture has stains on it (eww!) that make you wish you brought a clan of Lysol to disinfect the place. Plus ended up with fleabites (bedbugs?) after 1 night there.
Won't be back there. Only was there on business, and big mistake!

First of all I booked a non-smoking room. Upon arriving in my room and opening the door the stench of smoke hit me in the face. I went back to the office and asked them why I had a smoking room when I booked a non-smoking room. The attendandt Chris replied that I had booked a smoking room and that if I didn't want the room I didn't have to take it. Of course the other hotels were booked in the area that took pets so I was stuck with this stinky room. The assistant attendant replied that she remembered me booking a non-smking room and that they had "aired" the room out all day to make it a non-smoking room. Well needles to say it stilled smelled like smoke among other things. I stayed the night and my dog had a little accident while I was showering the next morning so I could get the heck out of this hell hole. I took some paper towel and cleaner that I carry in case of accidents and my paper towel immedietly turned black from the nasty carpet in the room. The spot wher I cleaned was the only clean space on the carpet. Do not stay here. This is basically just a "locals" motel where most people live.
