This place is old and outdated. And would be more appropriate for broke gamblers looking for a place to sleep after betting their life savings away. Not for a couple looking for a comfortable, romantic getaway. Rooms were clean, so clean that they smelled like ammonia, but is not a "contemporary resort" as they describe on their website. I believe that's why the site shows views FROM the hotel rather than the actual rooms. Hand me down type furniture, old beds, thin carpet, 1970s colors. Washing Machine worked well though. But please don't go.
Not great, but not as bad as others have said

Alot of people have said bad things about this place, however i dont think its as bad as people have said. We stayed there for 7 nights, and although it is not a flash place, it is not that bad. The decor and furnishing are not that flash, but who really cares, your there to go out and have fun not sit in your accomodation all day.
The location was average, close to the main beach shops, but a long walk to surfers paradise, you will need a rental car if staying here. The pool and spa were quite nice, and staff seemed to be nice also. We had no problems so didnt need to contact staff for anything. There is no one working after midday on sunday so checking in on sunday afternoon is done by ringing a staff member who gives you details on how to get your room key.
Would probably not stay here again, but thats mainly due to the location, not the condition of the hotel.
Horrible, the worst customer service ever and fability ever.

I stayed here with my partner about a year ago and would not recommend people go here. It took us 45 minutes to get into our room. The staff here were butt lazy and could not be bothered in helping us out with any queries. We had to work it out ourselves. The room was small than what was advertised on their website. The apartments looked old and run down. The view from the balcony was poor, all I got was view of other apartments, even their pools and building looked pristine compared to this place. The pool was filthy and the spa smelled funny. We could wait to leave the premises. Never again.
A disappointing experience

The description about the hotel room on the website was misleading. I have stayed at many properties on the Gold Coast, this would be one of the worst ones. At best, I would rate it no more than three stars. I will never stay here again.
