This is a sad old run down hotel that needs to be knocked down and a nice new hotel put up in its place. Never stay there again

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They charged us again after already paying through an online booking site. They lost the booking for another traveler with us who had also already paid. The rooms were filthy and smelled. It was cold and the heater did not work. Maintenance was called and after banging around on it for a few minutes was able to get some heat out of it. He told us not to turn it off in case we couldn't get it going again as he was fixing to leave. The bathroom was filthy, moldy, and walls peeling. I never felt clean in this room!! Avoid this hotel!!

Let me summarize: there was ONE functioning lightbulb in my room (all the rest were either missing altogether or burned out), the telephone didn't work, the carpet was FILTHY (my socks stuck to it when I walked), there were cobwebs in the corners and in the windows, the curtains wouldn't close all the way, there were water stains and cracks in ALL the walls and ceilings, the water in the shower wouldn't regulate (it would alternate between lukewarm and SCORCHING hot), the fixtures were rusted and the grout in the bathroom was moldy. And don't even get me started about the giant HAIRBALL that attacked me when I turned on the hair dryer!!! After reading the other reviews of this property on this site, and now having stayed at this hotel myself, I cannot for the life of me fathom HOW this place is still in business! All of the above for $75?!?! I will never, never, never, never, NEVER stay at this hotel again -- even if they were to offer to PAY ME the $75!

Wow what an imporvement they are in the middle of a renovation but the staff was great and the new rooms were really comfortable and clean

I stayed for a week on a business trip, and had several things wrong. During a thundershower we recieved the room actually leaked, the telephone didn't work, there was no refridgerator, nothing, and the pool looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in days. Someone needs to treat this place better than they do. It's not worth the money or the hassel. My boss had a room where the air conditioner didn't work. Go somewhere else!
