Very impressed with this hotel, from our arrival onwards. Lovely rooms, caring staff, generous attitude, customer focused... everything was great. Probably the best hotel we have been to in the USA, and one of the best in the world - not necessarily the most luxurious, but the best overall experience.
What was good:
- room ready when we arrived at 11:30am - no fuss!
- great double room, ground floor, with harbour view
- wired and wireless internet access free
- good TV, with channel guide
- free coffee available all day - enjoy it in the secluded courtyard garden
- wonderful location: Fells Point in not in the absolute centre of the city, but links by a water taxi. Don't let this put you off! Fells Point is wonderful on its own - restaurants, galleries, ice cream shops, parks
- free bottle of wine - we asked for champagne, and they gave us a nice Cava
- breakfast included, buffet style - fresh fruit, breads, cereals, juices - as much as you like, again in the courtyard garden
- friendly staff - we were having coffee in the garden, and they decided we might be hot, and so brought out some iced water
I have no 'buts' or 'howevers' to add to this review: a great hotel.
[The cherry on the icing on the cake is that the building used for the great US TV series 'Homicide: Life on the Street' is around the corner. If you can't get to the hotel, watch the TV series!]

Henderson's Wharf was as close to a bed & breakfast as you can get. The rooms were large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Their attention to detail was very nice. Even the bottle of wine was very good!
The continental breakfast was more than expected. So many choices and items. There is a beautiful courtyard-lush and green with tables or you can choose to eat inside.
The staff were helpful in deciding on things to do and places to eat.
The water taxi was close, so inner harbor was a boat ride away. Too bad we only had two nights to stay there! My family & I highly recommend Henderson's Wharf!

We just returned from staying five days at Henderson's and I just wanted to add our impression. It truly is a wonderful hotel, very clean, the staff was very attentive and all of the special touches are too numerous to list.
We loved Fell's Point and can't wait to return to explore it further. The complimentary wine is such a wonderful touch and the breakfast was extremely generous.
When we were checking out, we had mentioned to the staff that the air conditioning unit in our room was making some strange noises to the point that it was actually waking us up in the middle of the night. They couldn't have been more apologetic and had offered us another bottle of wine for our trouble, however since we were carrying our luggage on the airplane, we couldn't take it!
Thank you Henderson's Wharf family, you made our stay a joy...

Stayed here on our way to DC. I wished I could have stayed longer. Very nice staff. The hotel and the room were spotless! The room and hotel were furninshed in the best of everything. The bed was very comfortable. I did get a $10 better rate online then from calling the desk in person. Plan to stay there again when I come back to the area.

We stayed in a garden view room for 3 nights while we were in Baltimore to see a Red Sox game and get together with some old friends.
The room was very nice, spotless, and comfortably furnished. More tv channels than anyone could want (but unfortunately you can't watch the baseball game on the room tv's, only on the tv in the lobby). The bed was the the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel. Wonderful array of pillows, so we could find just what we wanted. Extra pillows were produced by the desk clerk with no problem.
We were getting together for a reunion with old friends who were coming in from out of town to meet us at our hotel before going out to dinner. I asked if the hotel minded if we took the bottle of wine the hotel gave us to the lobby with some crackers and cheese to visit with our friends for an hour or so before dinner. They were exceedingly gracious, offered to supply us with more wine glasses should we need them, gave my friends parking passes to the hotel parking lot.
The complimentary breakfasts were, again, among the nicest we've had in a hotel, with loads of fresh berries, yogurts, cereals, pastries, etc. Coffee was available 24 hours a day in the lobby. There is a very pleasant patio/courtyard where you could sit anytime, and take your breakfast if you want. Several fountains provided a soothing backdrop, pots of flowers on each table, and very nice landscaping.
Lobby had very comfortable couches, quality panelling and art work, and soft lighting.
The room was quiet, we never heard any other people or noise. Desk staff were fairly well informed (although one didn't know admittance to the Aquarium was by timed tickets and another didn't know why we couldn't get the Red Sox game on the room's tv) and uniformly pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping staff were excellent, pleasant, efficient. I give them a 10!
