Me and my family (about 110 people) stayed at this resort July 10-13 and had a wonderful time, the staff was very nice and professional and made everyone feel right at home and relaxed. The kitchen needs more accessories, but overall I have no complaints. We thoroughly enjoyed the music at the pool and the staff kept the poolside area spotless. I have been to Myrtle Beach for the past 6 years and this place nice, will recommend to others about this resort.

Ripped at the Paradise Resort in Myrtle Beach

We just returned from a stay at the Paradise Resort in Myrtle Beach. The Hotel was wonderful and everything was beautiful. Upon arrival we checked in and paid for our hotel in cash, we asked for a receipt and was told that we would recieve one when we checked out. The total amount we paid was $518.00. When it was time to check out we recieved a receipt that had $429.33. It did not match the amount we paid! So i inquired why the amout was different on the receipt than what we had paid and was told we only had paid $429.33. So the manager finally came to the front desk and said that she had counted the mans drawer and all that had been turned in was $429.33 and the drawer was not short or over. Also she informed us that we were the only people who paid with cash that night! So needless to say always pay with a credit card....We feel like we were ripped off by the man who checked us in and he made some money that night!

Stayed for 3 nights. The place was clean, right on the beach. House Keeping service was outstanding. No problems or complaints.

the hotel has a live DJ that plays music everynight until 10 (if you are lucky) and 11 on the weekends. It is so loud that it feels like the speakers are in the room with you. You cannot hear your tv over the loud music much less get any sleep. Also the hotel walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that goes on in the room next door! ""----- we stayed here in March 2008 for the month and were booked by the owner of the unit we occupied which was on the 3rd floor. When I contacted the owner when the music drowned out our TV and conversation he said that as an owner there was nothing he could do about it as the place was about 1/4 owned by individuals and the condo management owned the other 3/4 ( sales have been dismal - and I can see why). I contacted the resort management a number of times and I might add that this was a job in itself and they were fully supportive of the music. I have travelled a great deal over the past and have never ran up against this particular attitude in the hospitality industry. Anyway I add this comment for what it is worth to any future tenant that may consider this property. Thanks, Bill B
