This was a time share exchange. We traveled with small children for a trip to disneyworld. The place is old and not appealing from the outside. The rooms were spacious and clean, but not outstanding. It is not a DUMP, but it is not resort worthy. It needs some attention, and afterr check in, we never heard from any staff or saw anybody that worked there. Of course, when you do the "disney" thing, it is nice to have a quiet spot with a good bed to rest up for the next day. The pool was quiet and we enjoyed unwinding in the evening. There are certainly more appealing places for the kids to stay. There was no sign of Mickey Mouse at the condo! It is a 20 minute drive to the park - not bad, but certainly not close. Might have been nice to stay on site, so we could break in the middle of the day for some rest, but that isn't a good option when you are that far away.If you were like us, and it was the only option available, you will be okay - if you have other choices, you might want to check them out.

Although the staff was very nice, the unit was old and very weathered. Not what the photos showed in the timeshare book catalog. Everything seemed broken, counter tops chipped, bedroom lights not working- had to reset breakers on the first day, dimmers broken, overhead dining room light burnt out, no actual shower in the unit only jacuzzi tub and shower wand was installed upside down so didn't work in jacuzzi properly which caused a leak in the closet soaking our luggage already packed to go home. We spent the last day of vacation doing all our laundry caused from the leak in our closet from the bathroom.
We were traveling with children. Telephone instructions were incorrect on the phones the phone extensions listed caused a reorder and unable to reach the front desk so we had to request sheets for sofa bed by walking down at 11pm to main building then to go back to room waiting for housekeeping for 45 mins. Also, tv remote was not working, the convenience store in main building closed at 4pm daily, no gate or guard in guard shack to check in with and property /pool overall very old.
Front desk helpful and friendly but manager on duty hard to reach then wasn't very concerned with our dissatisfaction at all.

Do not be fooled by the lobby because the units looks totally different.
We were told that there was a 2 jacuzzi tubs in the unit. The carpet was dirty and the filter for the central air unit has not been changed in over 1 year per the service guy who came to change the filter.
The place is dirty the floor were filthy and the dining chairs were dirty, the furnitures hasn't been dust. I have asthma and was weezing the whole time I stayed in the unit. It better to breathe the hot air outside the air in the unit.
I should have took advice of other travelers not to stay. I would not recommend this place to no one.

We booked a suite through the AFVC for 3 nights. The resort grounds and office are nice. Our room consisted of walking through the door and entering a hallway. In fact, you can't even open the door all the way because the hallway is so narrow. Going left, you enter a bedroom with 2 double beds and a 13 inch TV along with a closet. We had our two kids stay in here so I can attest to how comfortable it was. Now if you take a right after entering the suite, you walk into a room with a wicker hide a bed, coffee table, a glass top table and 2 chairs. There is also a TV in this room, but that TBV is small too. This room also had a itty-bitty sink to do dishes in and a small refridgerator. The microwave and coffee maker are in a cupboard above the TV. We moved the TV onto a stand and had to move the stand so the cords could reach. The bed WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE! The lockout was locked and no one was staying in the other room which is a good thing because you could see light through the sides of the door and therefore would have surely heard the noise. The bathroom had a toilet, sink and tub/shower, but looked like they just slapped some paint on the walls and replaced the sink. The tub had mold on the sides which was gross. You had to step up into tub and then the tub was so deep, it came up to my knees so we were very careful getting in and out of the shower. I am glad that we got this room for cheap otherwise I would have been very very upset. From what I can tell, those that stayed in the 3-4 bedroom revovated rooms liked them, but I would stay clear of the suites. The main pool was nice and the staff was friendly, some of the guests were questionable.

I was concerned after reading the negative reviews, but glad we decided to give it a try. I am no expert on this property but this is what I picked up while we were there. Treat this as general information, and NOT 100% accurate, I was not there to take notes.
There is no Hotel or motel on the property at all and I believe this is where most of the complaints stem from. This is a timeshare. If you booked this as a hotel room or studio, what you will get is a lock off. If you trade or exchange into a 1 or 2 bed room with NO kitchen, what you will get is a lock off. A single standard interior door will separate the lock off from the main unit. This door is thin enough that you may hear your neighbors if you listen for them. There is no room service and there is no maid service. You will not walk into a 10 story building with elevators. Expecting these services will end up with you walking away unhappy.
The complex is made up of four sections, Celebrity Resorts, Celebrity Resorts II, Celebrity Resorts Oaks (300&400 room numbers, mostly 2 bed lock off), and Celebrity Resorts SPAs (500&600 room numbers, mostly 3 bed lockoff). Odd first digit rooms seem to be ground level while the even seem to be one flight up. The buildings are all two story single level Condominium’s and the formats are 2 bedroom, 2 bed room lock off, 3 bedroom lock off, All with two full bath rooms, full kitchens and plenty of parking. None of the rooms have balconies.
Each of the sections has its own pool giving you a choice of 4 pools, 1 indoor/outdoor heated attached to the lucky duck cafe, 1 outdoor heated behind the check in desk, and 2 outdoor unheated. Basketball court, tennis courts are near the center of the complex There is a staffed game room with older games, and they will supply racquets, balls, and pool toys if you ask. The ice machine is outside of the game room. There is a exercise room with basic equipment. There are picnic tables and charcoal grills at the end of the spas toward 192.
There are activities planed at the property but the turn out was pretty low which should be expected in an area with so much going on.
192 with its tons of shopping and restaurants, is with in walking distance. There is a sidewalk that only goes as far as the edge of the resort world property, from that point you have to walk though the grass along the Knights Inn then the parking lot of ihop. There are buss that run along 192, but I have no idea where they go or come from.
We were in unit 235 in june 2008 for 7 days. A 2 bed room, 2 bath unit, which I believe is in Celebrity Resorts II. The unit was very nice and had all the comforts of home. There was More than enough room for the four people in our group. I would not be the person to ask about decorating, but I thought the unit was nice enough. I did get a chance to see the 3 bed room unit in the Spas and thought that was much nicer. The unit was spotless, fully equipped, and everything worked including all the light bulbs. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything including directions and the tons of questions I had about the property. You put the garbage out at the curb in the morning and the staff will take care of it, the staff will not enter your unit once you check in unless called. We did get the usual hotel soap, shampoo, dish washing fluid, clothes detergent, coffee. But not enough for the week.
