We recently stayed two night in this hotel. As most reviewers stated it is very centrally located in Weimar, which is by far its most important asset. We paid 160 Euros per night for a "luxury room", plus 13 Euros for parking and 20 Euros for breakfast (now folks, that's 32 US Dollars!). All in all rather expensive given the reality of the hotel, no internet, no ac (just fans upon request), a rather somber entree, and fairly basic rooms. We will definitely look for other options next time we visit Weimar.

Elegantes Hotel ohne Klimaanlage
Guest name: Anonymous
Elegant hotel but no air conditioning

Although in a historic building the interior is modern and a little dull, although the original lithiographs by Becker and Dix and letter of approval from Thomas Mann are splendid and not trumpeted, just there if you like looking at art
There is a nice garden and breakfast was first class relaxed and included in the rate.
There is secure parking
The rooms were excellent in size and bath facilitities if a little impersonal
We did not dine and it was too hot to visit the Elephant Kellar, which brings me to my single main gripe, no air conditioning, Thuringia does not usually get much hotter than 27 degrees but it is often close muggy and thundery in Summer . It was very difficult to sleep this June
So recommended, good value at 145 e, if you are visiting in the Opera season to attend the birthplace of Lohengrin or the Liszthaus but in the summer perhaps an alternative with air conditioning
