We stayed in Lisbon for three nights at the Miraparque Hotel.It was good value for money at 60 euro per room.the metro was only 200 yards away around the corner and the park oposite.

Lisbon hotels are a bit expensive for me, but I got a triple room for ?80 at Miraparque. A great deal considering my options. The hotel didn't disapoint me at all. Big comfortable room, big bathroom with bath-tube. Minibar was exclusive for the hotel products. Location is very good, silent and very near to Parque metro station (about 80 meters). The underground line takes you easily to the city center, which is close by, but not walking distance for me. The great store "El Corte Ingles" is one station away (or walking distance), with direct connection to the underground. There is a big park in front of the hotel, but I didn't visit it unfortunately. Breakfast is very generous, a bit short on fruits, but we enjoyed it every single day of our week there. Staff was very welcoming and efficient. Overall, this is a big and professional hotel, rooms are large, very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the Miraparque on two separate occasions -- at the beginning and end of our trip to Portugal. Our rooms were so different they could have been in different hotels. On our first stay, our room was not a 3-star (as advertised) but perhaps an okay 2-star. The room was small, the wall plaster was damaged, the molding was in need of repair, the window trim had been repaired at some point and spot primed but not repainted, the bathroom was outdated with no ventilation besides the window and the shower curtain was frayed ... you get the point. It was clean and functional but not 3 stars. When we returned at the end of our trip, our room was definitely a 3-star. Although still on the small side, the room was well-done and the bathroom very recently remodeled. On both occasions, the complementary breakfast was excellent -- a nice selection of hot and cold items. We found the Miraparque to be wonderfully located. It is just around the corner from the Parque Metro Stop and close to the Aeroport Bus stop. It is a nice stroll from the main tourist part of town, or a quick Metro ride, depending on what you prefer. Bordered by the park, it is very quiet, and we found several restaurants nearby.

I could not fault my stay at this hotel. Lovely quiet location overlooking park and I could see the river from my room. Very clean and spacious room. Very close to metro and bus stops. A welcome retreat after siteseeing all day. Would definitely stay again as a good budget stay.

We booked a triple room at this hotel for only 90 euro a night through the tourist information center at the airport. We had not expected to stay overnight in Lisbon, but an airline problem changed our plans. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious by European standards, with a very large bathroom. Very nice location across from Parque Eduardo VII. The street, however, is a rather steep hill. This could definitely be a problem for older travelers. I would highly recommend the Italian restaurant at the foot of the hill- Sapore Restorante. The portions are huge!
