We stayed at this hotel because of the Globus tour. The hotel has beautiful decoration in the lobby, but rooms are lousy! I guess their guest source is mainly through tour companies. Location is okay though. Won't go back.

Location, location, location
This says it all. We booked a Globus Tour and this was the hotel it provided. Hotel was average for this type of tour.
However, we were within 10 minutes walking (uphill) to the Greek Tomb of the Unknown and its hourly ceremony. The Plaka was just a few minutes farther.
The rooftop restaurant provided a beautiful view, great at night, of the Acropolis and the Parthenan.
Many ATMs nearby as were various small food stalls.
Nothing much to recommend it but OK

My wife and I stayed for one night. It is a basic hotel, nothing more, nothing less. The rooms were small and a little run down but the place makes a good impression with its lobby. There is a great view from the Olive restaurant on the roof although we didn't try the food. The buffet breakfast looks better than it actually is. We would recommend the Ideal restaurant just down the street, very close. Ideal: Art Deco design, good food, reasonable prices and good service. Additionally, if your not an archaeologist :) or love museums and big cities, two days in Athens will be sufficient.

My wife and I, along with some friends stayed at this hotel for what was supposed to be 2 nights but was actually more like 1 night. RECO Tours DBA mymedvacations.com, booked us into this hotel but never picked us up at the airport and by the time we made it to the hotel we only had 2 hours to get ready for our first tour. Never book with REKO/mymedvacations.com or their other entity, cevacation.com. We enjoyed this hotel but there were a few problems. Water from the floor above us leeked on you as you used the toilet and the hotel is in the middle of downtown so it is very noisy.
Other than that this hotel was great for the one night we actually got to sleep in it.

Do not use for business!
The hotel is well located and offers decent breakfast. This is about its only quality. A grand lobby raises expectations, and then you arrive in your room... the room I was given (?150) was small, poky, very dark, overlooking a tiny courtyard which got no light When I woke up I thought it was a cloudy day when in fact if was bright and shiny outside!
The TV did not work, not did the internet (apparently they are linked). Reception said they could have sent a technician but I was too tired to be bothered!
The hotel seems to be used by large groups of tourists.
