This hotel is in a great location, 5 mins walk to a Metro, 5 mins walk to the Gulbenkian Museum and 3 mins walk to a huge range of shops including the huge El Corte Ingles department store. We booked two singles and a double. The double and one of the singles had two beds in, the other single had a double bed (queen). The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms a good size. The breakfast is buffet style but we never had a problem getting a table despite the hotel being quite busy. The bar is staffed by the most helpful and good natured man and the reception were efficient but not so friendly. There were building works directly outside the hotel this month (June 08) but they did not start work very early so apart from having to walk around these works to get to the hotel they were not too disruptive - these will go on for a while as they are building some kind of metro extension. BUT don't that put you off at all.

Hotel is clean and OK, except that we had a room with no working AC and we had to wait 2 days for a new one. No cheap internet connection, which for the price is unfortunate.
On the whole, it is a good place, with a roof pool (on the smallish side), but I don't think the neighbourhood is great, subway isn't too close and there aren't many restaurants around (but no problem for finding pastry shops though in this city!).
So I'd say that in view of the price, there may be better locations in Lisbon for tourists.

Just returned from a 4 night stay in Lisbon and stayed at this hotel. We could not fault the actual hotel, lovely clean rooms, because there was a lot of construction work on the road in front asked for a quiet room and received one. The breakfast was very good, I loved the small sausages.
The only fault which will mean we would not go back to this hotel was because we like walking, usually leave our hotel before 9 am and return back after 6 and then we like to go to for something to eat near the hotel and have a lovely meal and drink then to bed but we found the places to eat round about our hotel were few and far between especially when we wanted to eat portugese food. On the last night we found just round from the hotel the best pizza making and ice cream place in the world, I am not fond of pizza but they made the best pizza ever.

This hotel is okay and I would stay here again.
Positives: nice rooftop pool, good breakfasts, decent sized rooms, good location in business district (lots of shops, cafes and restaurants close by) and only a short metro ride downtown.
Negatives: bathroom could have been cleaner, pillows are very thin and lumpy, staff aren't the most helpful (we asked for more pillows and were told it was not possible!), taxis - we asked the receptionist to book us a taxi back to the airport and they booked us a private car service instead which was a nice car but it cost us double the price of the taxi on the way there, walls are very thin.
