Despite the series of negative reviews I decided to stay at this hotel for a week in December because of the reasonable price and proximity to the Reed Conference Center.
The staff were quite friendly, the accommodations comfortable, and the breakfast also good. The proximity to Praterstern station makes the hotel quite convenient to get to and from the airport. There is also a tram stop immediately in front of the hotel on the '21' line that goes to the Reed Conference Center.

Gute Lage: S-Bahn Prater Stern.
. Fotos folgen!!

I stayed here for four hot days in June and the main problem was our inability to keep the windows open at night because of traffic noise and no air con. The room was large enough with plenty of wardrobe space and it was clean. Staff were pleasant and the hotel communal areas were very nice. Breakfast was exellent.
I was here for a conference at the nearby Neue Messe and the hotel was handy for this (with a tram stop opposite the hotel or around a 20min walk). However, I would have been uncomfortable staying here on my own and walking to the U-bahn station 5 minutes away (from which you can get into the centre of Vienna in 10 minutes) due to the miscreants hanging around the entrance to the station.
I would probably stay elsewhere if I visit Vienna again.

Stayed for one night in this hotel during a conference in Vienna in a Standard room.
The room was cold even if the heater was on. The bathroom had a prison cell appearance (check my pictures) with old finishings. It is the first time that I see a bathroom shaped like the letter L.
Breakfast was average but the room was pretty small for the number of guests hosted at that time. The only good thing I can mention are the beds, the free internet access and the behavior of the personnel. For the price you have to pay for this I will not stay there a second time.
