This in a modern looking hotel which is easily accessible from the A16.
Average 50-70 euros per night per couple.
The bedrooms were comfy and the linen clean.
It fronts onto a busy main road. OK if the windows are shut or you have to get up early. (No air conditioning.)
Book an odd numbered room to sleep at the back.
Breakfast is substantial catering for all. No tea and coffee unless you buy at the bar, day or night. (2 Euros)
Town is 30 minute walk.
Tip, buy a taxi coupon at 14 euros per two trips which takes you to and from the Opera House. (2 euros extra after 10pm).
Bus No25 is 5 mins walk, 3.2 euros each way.

The hotel itself was terrific. Very clean, efficient staff, lots of room, quiet, and comfortable. However, travel to and from the old town is difficult. If you don't drive, it is at least a 45 minute walk to the city and attractions. The bus stop is not very close and the hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. We had an extremely difficult time finding it. In fact, the bus driver from the rail station didn't even know the location of the hotel after we showed him a picture of it, along with the street address. Luckily, a taxi driver riding the bus that day helped us to get off at the right stop. Since we opted to pay for bus transport, we concluded that it would have been better to stay in a hotel closer to the old town. Our sight seeing concluded early because the busses stopped running at a certain time and had confusing night schedules. The hotel does offer bike rental. However, this is a poor option if it is raining. Our recommendation is to pay the extra money and stay closer to the city.

Having read some reviews on this hotel (after booking), was a little worried about what to expect on arrival. Apart from being a pain to find (mainly due to roadworks in Brugge and no signage, I believe due to ongoing renovations), the hotel was more than adequate and a great find. Our room was bright, airy and in excellent condition. Although the rooms are not the biggest, there was plenty of storage space. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom pristine. Shower was always hot and water plentiful. The breakfast/dining room was immaculate and although we didn't eat here in the evenings, breakfast was superb. We didn't see many staff, which I always think is a good thing on a break, because you only tend to see them when there is a problem. Although you can walk in to the town, it's quite a long walk and the weather whilst we were there was horrendous. The hotel offers free parking (unlike most in the town). It's simpler to catch a taxi (5 euros) than navigate the maze of one way streets and parking meters, which are everywhere.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definetly stay here again.
