I liked this place a lot. The room was comfortable, if small, but that seems to be standard in Europe. It was nicely decorated and had a style in keeping with Granada. The hotel was also very nice looking and felt like authentic Granada. The staff was very cool and helpful.
The Plaza Nueva was about 200 yards away, and you could actually walk to the Alhambra. The breakfast was decent, but you can't beat the price, as it is included in everyone's room rate. We would definitely go back.

Full of character, spacious and literally minutes from the centre of Granada. Good sized bedroom and bathroom. There was a good selection of cold foods for breakfast. Staff at reception were very friendly. If you are hiring a car at the airport, the directions on the hotel web site to get you to the car parking at Puerto Real are spot on. There is a reduced day rate for Hotel guests (?18, instead of ?25), and the Hotel does pay the cab fare (approx ?4.50) to bring you from the car park to the hotel. Ask for a recibo from the taxi driver.

This hotel is located in the Albazin area and as such if you are driving you will need to park in town and get a taxi to the hotel. Taxis cannot access the front of the hotel and this means dragging your luggage over the cobbled streets to the hotel. It is not too far though and the hotel itself is small and very nice. It has a courtyard in the middle and some of the rooms overlook this. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious although we did have some problems that were not resolved properly. They were that the wireless internet would not work even though they said it should, there was no reception unless you went into the reception area. They provided me a cable which was fine except that it did not work. I later found out, just before checking out, that the receptionist at the time did not know she needed to actually activate the connection. Also the TV did not work properly and the aerial connection was a bare wire. I think with a little training and attention to detail this hotel would be excellent.
In summary a nice hotel in a nice area which was quiet at night. If you absolutely need internet connection and a decent TV then I would consider elsewhere but otherwise a good option in town.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were extremely helpful. The hotel was beautiful, had everything we needed, and there was a good choice of breakfast.
