After looking and not finding the hotel I found on the internet, I walked and walked around Budapest searching for a hotel.
I came across Ring City Hotel.
70 Euros a night seemed okay.
The room was small and uninviting, the curtains did not fully fit the windows and the room had 2 very small beds.
I stayed for a few nights but never felt at home.
It had free WIFI in the room which was ideal for me, and all you could eat breakfast which again was good.

I staied in this hotel last weekend and was very disapointed. When we arrived my first impression was 'oh my god what is this?' the exterior and interior of the hotel is filthy the staff had little to no english and were very unhelpful. Breakfast was basic and altho we were quoted our stay in Euro we were requested to pay in Hungarian Forits unfortunatley the exchange rate they convert at is off the wall so the hotel ended up been allot more expensive then originally quoted. Location is good but not in the best part of town. If you want basic in a central location then this hotel is for you, if you want any type of luxury book into the Radisson about 100 yards up the road.

This hotel was fine. Nothing special, but for the price was included a medium size room, tiny bathroom, good breakfast, helpful staff and a pretty good location. You could probably get something closer to the River Danube but if you do not mind walking a little bit then this one was fine.
Room was clean, staff helpful. Only concern was no way to escape from a fire due to security grills on the window.
Recommended for those on a budget.

we stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and would not go back the staff were lovely but the hotel is in need of an overhaul the stairs on the way up to the rooms were filthy and there was no lift. the corridors had very bad lighting and there were no fire doors as far as we could see to be seen anywhere there was railings on the windows so if there was a fire the only way out as far as we could see was the stairs. the walls were paper thin as well. the only good thing was it was around the corner from the shopping centre

Myself and my husband were due to stay here for 4 nights on 20th Aug 07 but checked out after the first night. This hotel claims to be a 3 star, I honestly would not even give it a one star! The hotel is old and shabby, the lift did not work and the only english speaking channel did not work either, the rooms+bathroom were dull and the shower tiny! (like you bang your elbows trying to wash ur hair..tiny!) We checked out after our first night and booked in to the Radisson Hotel just 3 mins walk away for the SAME price. The Radisson was so amazing and we had a fabulous stay here, I still cant believe it was the same price. City Panzio Ring is a rip off! Just pay the same price (€ 100 per night) and stay at the Radisson instead where you will get value for money
