The suites were a reasonable size -complete with some rather bizzare wood decorations that give the room an 80s look.
As Hotels in Paris go its typical although I agree the lift was the smallest in the history of lifts.
Staff were helpful, position was good and quiet. The Frenchmen in the tiny convenience store a few steps up the street was very helpful.

The hotel is well located for central Paris, short walk to Champs Elysees and Arc de triomphe. Very typical Parisian bar next door which makes up for the lack of a bar and restaurant in the hotel itself. Also very close to a bank with an ATM.
The rooms are small, bathroom was adequate but the shower was not the greatest.
As there was only a small breakfast room and no other facilities of note (eg previously mentioned lack of bar) it is not apparent how this gets a 4 star rating when there are 3 star hotels in the same area that compare favourably.
I would quite happily stay there again which must say something!

Should be a two or three star rating, not four star

This hotel is reasonably situated off the Champs-Elysee. It is a typical small Parisian hotel with 4 rooms on each floor and a total of 6 floors. The hotel was found for us by a company associated with Eurostar when I requested a 4* hotel. However, the rooms were very small, just large enough for the double bed (which itself was small with a pronounced slope towards the middle). There was little space in the room itself, and the bathroom was adequate, but with a poor shower. The room was reasonably quiet, as it wasn't on a main street, but there was a small (and very noisy) air conditioning unit in the room.
There was no restaurant (not a problem, however in Paris), but an adequate continental breakfast was included in a small room on the main floor. The lift was unbelievably small, so beware if anyone but small build is staying there.
The staff understanding of English was OK, but the service was not particularly good.
Overall, if had been listed (and priced) as a 3* hotel I wouldn't have been so disappointed, but it should not be considered a 4* hotel by those booking there.
