We have just had a weekend break April 2008 @ the Una Scandinavia, this hotel is clean & comfortable although a little dated, breakfast service & food was very good. The Hotel is about 45min walk to the Domo or you can catch a tram or bus (Taxi's are very expensive and i really wouldnt advise you to hire a car), if you want to be in the midst of the shopping then this hotel may not be for you. Its easy to get a train to Como Lake which is a nice contrast to the hustle & bustle of the city traffic. Overall we had a very pleasent stay but probably would choose a hotel closer to the centre if we visited Milan again.

Having read other reviews I was bit worried about staying in this hotel, I have to say thankfully my doubts were proved wrong. Hotel very nice, nicely decorated, (reception area/bar area quite small for size of hotel but for length of time used it was not a problem). Hotel bedroom nice and clean, huge bed, lots of storage, very clean, bathroom quite small though but plenty of hot water, great powerful shower. Hotel staff excellent probably nicest I have came across on my travels, vey helpful, polite and no query to much to them, speak very good english better than my pigeon italian!! Hotel a bit out of centre,(3km) not too far to walk, though tram stop minutes walk from hotel which takes you straight into centre. Some really nice restaurants, shops in area. Some tips for Milan - not really tourist resort, would suggest brush up on italian phrases, know some italian dishes/meals as menus all in italian (no translation into english, meant my relatively fussy husband lived on pizza each night!!!) Milan shops close on Sundays, only few expnsive ones stay open that are right in centre, limited choice of activities also, would recommend avoiding sundays if on short stay breaks.

Sono stata in questo hotel per pochi giorni a settembre. Considerato che si parla di un 4 stelle, e in Italia, l'attenzione per i dettagli è molto scarsa (l'albergo necessita di una manutenzione globale- tinteggiare i muri, rivedere la moquette e gli arredi); inoltre la stanza singola (nonostante la prenotazione fosse per una doppia uso singola) è una cella monacale. Attenzione ai viandanti in sovrappeso: potreste avere difficoltà ad entrare in doccia. Io, che peso circa 50 kili ho faticato per entrare attraverso le antine di vetro e ci sono riuscita solo entrando di fianco. Conclusione: deludente. In compenso il personale alla reception è molto efficiente, gentile e giovane.

Hemos estado en este hotel este fin de semana pasado(del 26 al 28 de octubre). Hemos ido un grupo de 6 amigos y a todos nos ha gustado mucho. El hall del hotel está fenomenal, las habitaciones también están muy bien, y el personal de recepcioón nos trató muy bien y nos pudimos entender perfectamente en español con ellos. El hotel está muy limpio. El único punto negativo es que está retirado del centro, a unos 45 min andando del duomo, pero hay tranvía cerca del hotel, o incluso se puerde coger un taxi que cuesta hasta el duomo unos 8 euros. Recomiendo el hotel sin ninguna duda para una muy buena estancia en Milán

El hotel estaba muy limpio, la habitacion era grande y comoda. Respecto al desayuno era bastante variado con leche , fruta, yogures... No estaba muy centrico pero a unos 10 min. hay una parada de tranvia que en solo 15 min. te deja en el castillo. En definitiva es genial.
