My wife and I arrived at 2200hrs after a 2 and a half hour flight from Newcastle so were looking forward to a good nights sleep. Check in went without fault even though the receptionist could not speak a word of english. We were given the key to what can only be described as a broom closet, to add insult to injury it had twin beds not a double which was asked for. After 30 mins of sign language and 2 phonecalls to an english speaker, a woman arrived with double bed sheets, pushed the 2 beds together an hey presto there was our double bed for the next 3 nights. Breakfast was pointless and should be avoided if possible, fresh orange juice is diluted etc. The hotel has soundproof doors but not soundproof windows so if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs. For the equivalent of £120.00 per night this was money wasted, other rooms maybe fantastic but room 204 should be avoided like the plague.

Lo scorso mese ho deciso di recarmi a Roma per un weekend di vacanza a basso costo. Ho passato ore a cercare un buon hotel su internet, non è stato semplice ed è stata una bella sorpresa scovare questo hotel. La zona non è esattamente un quartiere residenziale ma la posizione è ideale per chi desidera visitare e avventurarsi per la città perché è centrale. L’hotel era deliziosamente pulito e ordinato. Era davvero all’altezza del prezzo, più un quattro che un tre stelle. Se gli ascensori lenti vi fanno spazientire, non andateci ma, se questo particolare non vi infastidisce, l'hotel farà proprio al caso vostro. Inoltre, alcuni membri del personale sono dei veri personaggi. Il mio preferito era un romano che parlava inglese, spagnolo, francese e giapponese! Era davvero sorprendente. Mi piacerebbe ritornarci!!!
