very friendly and helpful reception staff, easy access to cental Paris,we could actually see the Eiffel Tower. Lovely clean rooms and very comfortable.Lovely breakfast anf fantastic French restaurant at the end of the road. For people who have not been before. If you ring the hotel direct they have a taxi service that will pick you up from the airport and drop you back off, for a small charge for us it was13 euros each! (each way)
We stayed for three nights and I am deffinately going to go back there again.

By the time we got to the hotel about 9.30, there was nightstaff on (I think!)..We were given the key and sent up in the rickety old lift to the seventh floor...banished away I think!
The room was small, the lighting was interrogation like and the view was of the back of another building block!
The "double" bed was like a single and a bit, the carpet itchy and we had to almost walk in sideways to the bathroom.
Look- it was clean...but let's be honest..a weekend away in paris you want to have a bit more than clean..
Would not recommend unless you literally need somewhere to crash out.

We have just returned from a weekend at the Classic Hotel Tour Eiffel. The hotel is horrible and we have never experienced such terrible service before. We booked a double twin comfort room but on our arrival at the hotel the person at the reception told us that the hotel was fully booked and that the only room available was a single standard room. He also refused to help us finding an alternative accommodation in either their hotel or in a different one. He intimidated us with rude words and shouted at us to stop complaining. When I asked him to give us his name he then refused it, bashed his hands on the reception desk and disappeared. Also nobody bothered to ask for our passports which sounds very strange for an hotel. The following day there was another person at the reception and she then moved us to a standard double room (again not what we booked). Finally, we also booked for a shuttle bus to go to the airport and although they took our deposit they never made the booking with the taxi company. Overall I would say this is probably the poorest hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and I will never go back there, not even for free!

Very small cramped hotel, the specially requested double room was in fact two singles pushed together but made up seperately, the bedding did not match and one old looking blanket was supplied per bed. Two extra pillows available although covers were dirty, a mattress protector was on one bed only and was also dirty. Went to speak to reception who basically said he was not interested and to take it up with booking agent, which we will!
The satellite TV has 100 channels but 92 of them are of the same thing!
Very small corner wardrobe, no other storage space, no tea or coffee making facilities. The bathroom is clean but also very small. My partner is 6'2" and when standing in bath his head reached the ceiling. It was not possible to sit upright with legs fully outstretched and lying down was impossible, The hotel refers to larger corner baths in it's literature but in fact these are about half the capacity of the stadard full size straight bath.
This hotel is suited to a single traveller wanting a cheap enough hotel, but do not go here it you want the "special" feel, also there is not enough room to accomodate disabled customers and families would find it a squash too.

Good inexpensive Paris hotel

I booked this hotel through lastminute and it was with a bit of trepidation given some of the mixed reviews. I had nothing to worry about. The staff were polite and the hotel clean and it was cheap. Yes the bathroom is small, it's Paris after all. The only downer was that the double bed is really only 1.5 so it was very "cosy" with two people in there. If arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport it is very convenient two RER trains and a 5 -10 minute walk from the station. Note it's about a 35 - 40 mins walk to the eiffel tower, but a very picturesque walk as you can follow the Seine the whole way.
