Second Stay Was Great

This was our second trip to Milano, and second stay at the Una Century. It was the least expensive of all the hotels we stayed at in Europe. And yet it lived up to its 4 stars. It is not the most intimate hotel, but it is close to the central station, modern, clean and effecient. We didn't eat at the restaurant this time, but the breakfast was just fine.
I really like the location. At night, it is a quiet part of Milan, with lots of places to eat nearby and a good grocery store. And while the central station is not near the Duomo or the touristy things, the metro is there and its a quick ride to everything you would want to see.

Despite this hotel being difficult to find behind some office blocks it was well worth the effort. The staff at the reception spoke great English which is always very helpful and we found them very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable indeed, appeared very fresh and could not fault them at all. The breakfast was ideal and the staff there were very friendly and helpful at all times. This was a hidden gem and I mean hidden !! Very close to Central Station and within a short walk from where we got the Malpensa Express to. All in all a good choice and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Milan

My stay at the Una Hotel in Milan was pleasant. My room was very large but the carpeting and furniture were a bit outdated. I was pleasantly surprised when I found a exercise bike and bench press in my room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, only a 3 minute walk to the Central Station, which is then only a 5 minute train ride to downtown Milan. The only downfall was that I didn't have hot water for all 3 nights and the breakfast was disappointing.

02/01/08 Staying at Una Hotel Century was an awful experience. At night there was not hot water (all the 4 nights we spent there). The third bed was a sofa in bad condition (they don't mention it). They didn't change all the towels nor the cups of water in the room. The only good thing was the breakfast and the breakfast staff. The reception not available to help in any problem.

Very good hotel

Very good hotel near the (central) train station. Rooms are large and with all the required comforts and facilities. I think it is particularly good for business travellers. Prices are reasonable.
