Clean hotel, great location. LCD TV in the room. Good breakfast all inclusive. Polite staff. We stayed there for 3 nights, and had nothing to complain about, it was excellent.

Stayed at the hotel during a brief break in my travels and found it ideal - small and boutique style and excellent location near all the major tourist attractions as well as shopping. Easy access to the metro and all of Paris.
Staff was helpful and with access to wonderful restaurants and Bistrot's a hotel I would and will return to in the future.

Adore the Waldorf Madeleine Hotel

I spent seven nights at the Waldorf Madeleine Hotel recently and absolutely loved it. This is my sixth stay and hope to have many more visits to this glorious hotel. I was warmly greeted by the staff and hugged by one of them and greeted by name. (Once when I called he even knew my name before I had to tell him). I love the rooms and they are very clean and cozy. The sunlight shines right through and there is even a small balcony. There is lots of storage space and a nice large bathroom. The breakfast room is small but very comfortable. It is on the second floor (not in the basement as it is for many hotels in Paris) and has a lovely window to look out and people watch. The selection of food is fabulous (croissants, pastry, rolls, fresh fruit, variety of juices, etc.) and I was pleasantly surprised to find they had added bacon and scrambled eggs. Delicious! Oh, the coffee is the best I have ever had. I also love the location and you can walk to most places (Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Opera Garnier just to name a few). There are also many fine restaurants and shops nearby. Paris is by far my favorite city and the Waldorf Madeleine my favorite hotel. I want to thank the Waldorf Madeleine for their wonderful hospitality and kindness during my recent stay. I hope to be back very, very soon.

We stayed with a group of friends for two nights. A lovely little hotel. As other reviewers have said the rooms aren't huge, but you don't live in them!! bed and pillows were lovely and comfie with crisp white bedding and the room was spotless. The staff friendly and very helpful. It was very easy to get out and about from the hotel once you have your bearings. There were 12 of us and the breakfast room is quite small so we didn't have breakfast in the Hotel, but it looked a good continental breakfast. We would all go back again. It was a great weekend.

Three star experience

I thought this was a four star hotel, but it's a just a three. Quirky, marginally functional plumbing, but comfortable pillows and bed. Tacky lobby, bare bones front desk. Friendly staff. Not a great location for tourists -- it's a business and retail area -- though an easy walk to the Louvre.
