We went to the Gallery for 3 days and it was just perfect ! The room are nice and well equiped, the staff is very very helpful and friendly but the best of all is the LOCATION ! It was perfect, so near the ramblas and the shops and the great tapas bar ! We loved it " Food was very good too ! We had breakfast included in our plan and it was very good !

This is a great location to be in - close to great restaurants and high-end shopping, but handily just a touch further north than the mad goings-on of La Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya. The hotel is chic modern European business-style. Good fittings and attention to detail, rooms just big enough, nice amenities, good aircon, tasteful safe decor. Breakfast surprisingly worthwhile and helpful and friendly cafe/bar staff who were eager to please any time day or night. Spacious outside terrace for meals/drinks with nice touches like complimentary snacks. Concierge a little clueless on restaurant recommendations, but not a big deal when BCN has so much to offer within a close radius. So not a definitive or exceptionally memorable hotel, but one that will completely meet your needs for a great Barcelona weekend and at a price that's definitely good value.

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights 26-30 March having checked the reviews on this site. The location is very good in terms of being within walking distance to many key attractions, metro, tourist bus stops etc. Staff were wonderful, kind, gracious and efficient. However, I would not recommend the hotel unless guaranteed (in writing) a room with good natural light. The room I booked was a single and everytime I left the room I felt I was being released from a prison cell. It was tiny, dark and extremely depressing. The en suite bathroom was larger than the bedroom and more attractive. Actually, i felt very depressed during my stay and this I put down to the bedroon. In truth I cannot recommend the hotel as a result.

Had a great stay at the Gallery Hotel two weeks ago. Super friendly and helpful staff- immaculate housekeeping! The hotel exceeded our expectations- spacious rooms, a beautiful view from room, chocolates on pillows and complimentary water in small fridge. We also loved the location- easy access to metro but most of the time we took off on foot to explore Barcelona. Also in a great neighborhood- felt very safe and even walked home from a bar 6 blocks away at 4AM with nary a worry. We were on 5 th floor and never even remotely heard the metro- our room was very quiet. We had friends in room next to us and never heard their TV, phone or shower. Definitely recommend this hotel.
