Perfectly situated in the shopping district, I had a fantastic time in the Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten. The staff were very friendly and professional and I enjoyed my comfortable room very much. A member of staff gave me a showaround and I was able to see some of the new suites, which are modern and stylish without loosing the Vier Jahreszeiten-Flair. In the evening I enjoyed the gym on the top floor, which is well equipped and all facilities are well maintained. The hand written weather forecast for the next day on my pillow was a nice surprise that reflected my stay with a lot of attention to detail. I can only recommend this luxury traditional hotel. I felt very welcome and taken care of - a home away from home!

I went to munich this month ( July ) and i stayed for a week there at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich, i had a wonderful stay there, everything is so organized and up to the best worldwide standards, staff, service, rooms, restaurant, lobby, all are perfect and i really liked this hotel so much. They have a very luxerious lobby where you can sit and have a coffee or snacks, professional reservations & front desk staff, housekeeping and food and beverage staff are up to the standards as well, also they have a wonderful concierge department leaded by the professional person Massimo who can advise and arrange anywhere you want to go and anything you would like to see. Also, the location is wonderful as well it is on the best area in Munich where you can fimd all what you need just in a walking distance, shops, malls, restaurants, cafes and ofcourse historical sites as well. I really enjoyed my stay there and ofcourse i will choose this hotel whenever i go there to Munich.

I stayed at the VJK several times in previous years. In February, I was invited by a client, and honestly I was really disappointed. The room was small, it took me ages to get there (with my luggage) and had none of the usual amenities, over all the room was 'old'. The Internet didn't work, the mini bar was empty and room service didn't respond only after calling them numerous times to order and for the delivery which took 1, 5 hours. Also, there was major road work going on at that side of the building where during the night heavy material was removed. After mentioning that at check out they had no apologies that I really couldn't sleep. But the 'best' was the breakfast. The staff seems pretty good in waiting on male clients but seems to have some issues with women traveling on business. I was ignored, when I was looking for a table, the coffee arrived when I was almost finished with my meal and news papers were delivered to all other guests but not to me, after asking for them.

A nice place. I received a true single room, so a bit cramped. The bath was nice, and I used it alot. The pool is a great place, a nice suprise, the outer deck there has a nice view. The lobby area is a nice place to hang out and read or have tea. Many nights at 4AM I was reading in the lobby:) The location is the great thing here. This location cannot be beat. So close to everything. I love Munich, so being in the middle of everything was a great benefit. The room was clean, the staff was nice.

My husband and I stayed at the Munich Kempinski for two days in May 2007. The hotel is in an excellent location - walking distance to the old town center (lots of shops and restaurants). The hotel itself is handsome- albiet the entire front facade was under construction so it was hard to tell what the entrance looked like. The lobby area is nicely decorated and the rooms are small but comfortable. It's not the best hotel we've stayed at, but it's good.
